SFMM 9/22/07 By Myself

I'm heading out West on business travel next week and since I've got Six Flags season passes I figured I'd head over to SFMM and hit some coasters. The problem? I'm by myself. I'm not looking for a date or anything, just someone familiar with the park who loves coasters.

I've read some trip reports and such, so I've got an idea of how I want to approach the park. I know I want to ride X, Tatsu, Riddler, Superman, Goliath, and Colossus, but I've been once before and found the layout confusing, so a tour guide would be nice. Plus, it's kind of lame going to a park by yourself, although I'll do that if I have to.

So, anyone willing to help a brother out? Hmm, should I post some info about myself? That feels too much like a personal ad. :) I'm a young adult male. How's that? Eh, just respond to this thread if you're interested, or have some advice about the park. Thanks.

If you can't find anyone to go with you, MM has a lot of single rider lines now. So, that would help you out.
Hey Tim, good point! There's a positive to going by yourself. I can't think of the last time I used a single rider line.

I may end up getting there a bit before the park opens and just blitzing through as many rides as possible in as short a time as possible.

Tatsu seems to be the only thing with a line when I have been, besides my first trip there, going left and doing the loop is always easy and the left is the B&M side, which I am and addict for.

If you are still in the market for a tour guide, I'm game. I think it's fun when newish people get to see the park for the 1st time. I'm an "extreme" pass holder, mostly for free parking, 4 free flash passes and food discounts.

I'ts actually a good time to go, most of the Halloween decorations will be up, but the FF crowds might not be there.

The single rider line is real hit or miss affair. On Deja Vu it works to a degree, but others you just kind of stand there hoping and wishing they notice you there.

Speaking of Flash Pass, it is best with the water rides and Tatsu. Everything else is usually under 15 minutes, and X and Deja Vu are not part included as I recall. *** Edited 9/11/2007 11:44:28 PM UTC by DBJ***

^^I can confirm no X and Vu, however, this guy isn't a first timer either....
