SFMM 2001 Construction Photos

Hello all, I've just uploaded some construction photos from today at Magic Mountain. I managed to get some from the construction near Psyclone, seems like the entire pathway leading to Psyclone has been dug up... I also got some from the groundwork being done near Viper's lift hill.

Enjoy!

Kewl, though it's annoying how parks squeeze in coasters! Look at Goliath, as with Titan, had there been more room for run-off hills & helices, there would be no need for such excessive mid braking. When I saw Goliath debut on the news, I actually thought the mid-brakes were the station brakes. My thought "What the ****!"

What's happening with the rumor on SFMM buying up all that surrounding land? Another is expanding onto the giant carpark by Colossus.

There sure is a lot of whining about brakes.

You build it, I'll ride it
Nah, I'm no brake whiner! Look, I haven't even ridden Goliath! I'm just saying that it's a waste of kinetic energy at that point in the ride. Then again I could be wrong. Have to ride to find out!

Actaully I take that back. Yeah there is too much braking!! My local park has its major wooodie braking to a standstill after the first drop! Speed! Speed! No brakes! No brakes! They're there for good reasons so to all other whiners & myself, too bad!

Thread deviation Alert! Ok. If it's just a narrow strip of land, perfect for a out & back Giga. Wait a minute, there's Goliath, though that's not a Giga & Knotts may get one. I'm being sarcastic of course.

Time will see.

Oh to the guy whose signature is 'SFMM 2001 A Beast Will Rise' or something like that, spill the news baby!!
