Well, since this forum is dwindiling, I will write a quick report of my even quicker trip to Magic Mountain yesterday.
My brother and his friend went with me, and his friend got in for 10 bucks since he brought a toy. We went on Batman the ride first, which would surprisingly be our fastest wait of the day. We waited for the front, and got a fast and furious trip through this awesome ride. Inverts rule! 9/10
We then went to Colossus, and the line was fairly long. There were running one side as usual WHY NOT RACE? Especially when it's this crowded...anyway, I actually got some good airtime in the back this time, and it wasn't even that shaky. I just hate the fact that you have to hold the lap bar up, otherwise it goes down a few notches. Still, a very enjoyable ride. 7/10
After that, we met up with some friends who had waited two and a half (!) hours for Deja Vu. I'm partically GLAD that I can't ride it. We waited about an hour for Riddler's Revenge, and stood in the back. This is one of the best rides of had on this beast. I love how it feels like you won't make it around the huge loop at the beginning. Overall a very smooth and entertaining standup. 8.5/10
After this we waited a hideous 75 minutes for Goliath...and we got every single minute the sign had promised us. We then sat in the back and had a blast. The first drop offered much airtime, but, like Colossus, you have to hold the bar up, or else it will click down during the turnaround. That's very annoying. Although I like every second of this ride, it is still too short. I must say that SROS and Apollo's Chariot are better. 9/10
After this, we convinced Bob (my brother's friend) to go on Flashback. We sat in the back row and had an awesome ride. You have to be taller than 6 feet, but then this thing is awesome! The dives are insane, it almost feels like the train will fly off the track. Could use a paint job, though. I also wonder why the most aggressive ride in the park has the most rock hard otsr's. 8/10
Anyway, it was a short day, but it was still fun to get some riding in. Now I hope they hurry up and bring on x!!

I couldn't agree more about Flashback, Viper is the same way! I really hope the rumours of Flashback being upgraded are true so people can enjoy this world class coaster!

So what is better? SFMM or CP? I don't care! They both have 29 coasters between them that they build so we can have a good time!
Hey...when you went on Batman...Did you happen to see a ride operator with what looks like a fro? Just curious...

Yeah, I work at Magic Mountain...What's your point?

Surfsphere: I'm not completely sure, but now that you say it, it kind of rings a bell. However, that might just be the power of suggestion. Next time I'm there (in about two weeks) I will look out for said person.
That person will not be there in two weeks...He will be on vacation in Las Vegas...and the fro will be gone. =)
