SFKK 3/30

Associated parks:
None

Drove to SFKK on Saturday to process our $45.00 season passes. $45.00! Lets face it, the park is not that good but $45.00 is a steal.

First up Chang: The most head banging I've ever experienced on a B&M. The train looks like it needs a MAJOR overhaul.

Next, Twisted Twins: The ride would be better if it would duel like CCI intended.

Thunder Run: Surprise of the day! Great little coaster. Lots of airtime. 2 rides on it. I think the train got a nice overhaul the past winter. Fresh paint and padding.

My wife and I both have a heavy dislike for SLC's, so no T2 for us.

We were only there to get our season passes to be used at SFGAv, but in turn found a winner in Thunder Run.

Left there and started our drive to SFGAv. See my trip report here.

Did I mention, that I like coasters...

I don't understand why you drove to Kentucky to save less than $40 on the pass ($80.55 according to the official site). With gas prices right now, I can't imagine that you actually saved any money.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

Going from Indy to KK is only a short drive and on two passes he would have saved 80 bucks not 40. Why do people have to be so damn judgemental on here.

Look at his profile, he is From Indy, he is going to SFGADV and he goes to get six flags season passes at SFKK. He bought two of them, price at SFGADVA would be 160 bucks, price at KK was only 90. Sounds like a smart deal to me. I mean it doesn't take 70 bucks to drive the 90 miles to Louisville from Indy.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

A group of us came from Columbus, OH Saturday and did the same thing! You can't beat that kind of a deal, especially when it can be used al year at Wyandot Lake! :) OK so there's Geauga, Great America, and hopefully the Calif. ones too this year.

Did anyone else notice how unbelievable Thunder Run was performing? WOW. I still can't believe that I had a near-Raven air experience on it!

Yeah, what he said! Its only a 1 1/2 hour drive. The gas money was less than $10.00.

Arrow Guy, hey after looking at your profile and personal photo, I think maybe you were in line with my wife and I. We rode at about 2:00. I was wearing a pea green sweatshirt. If that was you, you were wearing a SRM t-shirt. Was I right?

Sorry, I read the line about "we were only there to get our season passes to be used at SFGAdv." and wrongfully assumed they were from New Jersey/New York. It's not like other people haven't mentioned traveling to other Six Flags to get cheaper passes before
