We decided to skip KI instead go to the counter part. Since we'd be able to get into KI in a little over a month.

Rides
Chang: BORING!! That's all I have to say about this. They only ran one train. Maybe someone can tell me why they ran one train all day on a day that was practically packed lol. (4/10)

Greezed Lightning Honestly I'd go JUST for this ride. It's was so awesome. haha (9/10)

Roadrunner Express: The only thing that I liked this ride was the station is "cool"themed IMO. It was a boring ride. I was expecting a little airtime or something rather than a snorefest. (5/10)

Rollerskater: It packed quite a punch, but I'd probably skip it going for Thunder Run. (5/10)

T2: YES! I'm a credit _____. I'm sure you know what I'd say about this ride so all I'll say is this "THE WORST!!!" ;). (2/10)

Thunder Run: I think this is one of Charles Dinn's BEST coasters. It's small but mighty. (8/10)

Twisted Twins: Man! I thought Villain was rough phew!! lol They didn't even race! It was a MAJOR let down. We timed dispatch and it was roughly about a minute. They must've been training still. (4/10)

Other Rides
Hellevator/Superman:Tower of Power This was so cool. :)

Tin Lizzies They were alright I liked GL's better.

Thrillpark Theater This kicked major butt. I wish they'd actually spray you with water, turn on the ticklers, etc...

Personnel
Ride Ops: I'd say by FAR the best crew in that entire park would be Greezed Lightning, getting that train out quicker than any other shuttle I've ever seen. Thunder run was a close second. The worst crew is Chang, I'm not sure if it was the fact that I came from a B&M and I was hoping that these ops would up hold atleast some of the B&M "amazing-ness". They were slower than molasses, making the queline pretty much down the stairs the entire day. I do have to say I saw some great things though from some park ops and workers. (6/10)

Overall I'd say the park was about (7/10). It has a really great atmosphere. There were some confusing areas, but it was a great way to spend my birthday. :).

Twisted Twins rough? Worse than Villian? Are you sure? To me, Twisted Twins wasn't bad pain-wise, but here's where you should apply your "boring" rating. Also, how is 1 minute dispatch bad? Or are you referring to something else?

Hey CD...What you said pretty much matches everything I believe about SFKK. While I'm not a local, we do stop at SFKK every year on the way back from from Holiday World.

A few of things you should know though...

- In all the years I've been going to SFKK I've only seen them race the TT on one visit. Even if they were training I don't think you'll see it get much better than that.

- I've never seen Chang run with more than one train, and their crew has always been terrible.

- My faves have always been Thunder Run, Greezed Lightnin', Hellevator, and some of the flats aren't too bad.

The crews at SFKK have always been awful when I was there also. If your next in line on Thunder Run expect a 10 minute wait. They are certainly in no hurry to dispatch the train.b

I think the place is kind of neat though. I made my first trip in 2001 and I've actually enjoyed about 5 trips since then. Thunder Run, Greazed lightning and Roller Skater are the only rides I think I've bothered to re-ride in any single trip.

Twisted Twins was the single most disappointing CCI coaster I've ever ridden. I did not think it was rough, just a little too lifeless.

The real action on Saturday was about 2 hours further south at Beech Bend. Rumblefest was amazing.

Yeah we wanted to stop down there but by the time we got out of Louisville we weren't going to get at Beech Bend in time. lol I think I was referring to the racing or something. I meant the 1 minute dispatch as good. :)

edit: As far as the "BORING!!!", I was expecting more from Chang. Not quite sure what it was but the only thing this did for me was put strain on my legs ;). *** Edited 4/24/2007 5:36:39 AM UTC by crombiedude11***
