SFGAm's SECOND 2001 coaster (guesses)

Taking a hint from our very own DEK, I decided to start a thread about the teaser of a 2nd coaster coming to SFGAm (1st being Two-Face). Wild One has already submitted his thoughts that they will get a Joker's Jinx. Personally, I think that I will be a mouse coaster of sometype themed to either RoadRunner or Taz, and located in Orleans Place between Shockwave and Cajun' Cliffhanger. What's on you all's minds?
I would agree with Wild One too. I dont know if Im right, but I think GreatAmerica wanted a shuttle coaster at the beginning. Butif they do get one, Im kinda hoping it would be Mr. Freeze clone and not of Jokers Jinx. Just my thoughts!
Is floorless out of the question? Would that be too expensive? I hope not, floorless sound really cool.

A brand new premier launched ride would be cool, especially if it were like Mr. Freeze and could run with a two train operation. A floorless would be acceptable, but it does not top my list.
How about a launched floorless mouse ride....
Hey, anyting at all would be great! Though a wild mouse or a Premier launched "spaghetti bowl" are the most likely choices. That way, SFGA avoids having to many clones of what is at SFStl.

I think a Intamin Impulse clone in the front of the park would be totally awesome.

I would really like to see a new bread of ride. Such as they did with RAging Bull. I wouldn't mind a new idea like launched floorless or somthing. I just hope they do that. Then I'll really get to use my season pass!

How about Sourdough, or Pumpernickle? Sorry, I couldn't resist.

A new BREED of ride would be nice, like ArrowBatic.

Gotta ride 'em all!
If they do an Arrowbatic they would probably add the family one, as I can't see SFGAm put in two Adult Coasters. But, ya never know!

You build it, I'll ride it
But it's their 25th anniversary, so I don't think a Floorless would be out of the question. Premier is weird, they did nothing for SFGRAdv's anniversary this year, and they're doing nothing for SFMM's anniversary next year. Well at least SFOT is getting something special, not that an Invertigo is not special but come on.

It's gotta have capacity. A Mr. Freeze would do the trick but as already mentioned, St. Louis is rather close. However, they both have B:TRs. Any sort of shuttle would be overkill, especially an impulse. Let's not forget an Invertigo is a shuttle to begin with.

So what do I think they'll get, a Joker's Jinx would be OK. That rumor has been floating around for a few years. Some sort of wild mouse, however, would fit in perfectly, especially over near the Yukon Territory (the only themed area missing an adult coaster). It's different enough from the other coasters there to really stand out. What SFGAm doesn't need is another looper, especialy a floorless. They've already got Demon, Shockwave, Iron Wolf, Batman, and now Two-Face.

Why not place a coaster in the front of the park by the entrance?

You guys already have a coaster in the front of the park by the entrance. It's called Shockwave :)

I didn't mean that they shouldn't put a coaster by the front of the park, I meant that it shouldn't be an Impulse coaster. Think about it. Two inverted shuttles added to one park in the same year. That would be a throughput nightmare.

Viper in actuality is also in the front of the park. They need to start building more coasters in Yankee Harbor and Yukon Territory. When people enter the park in the morning they make a mad dash to the right because most of the coasters are on that side. They need to even the playing field more.

you know chi, that's funny, I almost always go to the left. Mostly because the people I'm with see shockwave and want to hit that first. I notice that most ppl DONT do that. And thats rather suprising to me. BTW: I would say the Viper is in the back (the entrance is anyway). Whizzer is the closest to the front on that side.
You know, there is a chance they won't get anything else besides the Invertigo. There is such a thing called money.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Well, I dont think money will be a big object. If Two-Face gives an attedance boost similar to Raging bull (200,000 over the season) at 43 bucks a head, they will increase gross income by 8.6 mil. Two-Face only costs 3.5 mil to build (according to the article), so they may have a few pennies left over.
I think that article had some mis-information. I know Invertigos aren't expensive, but they can't possibly be that cheap

Remember, Vekoma is Dutch for Ford(kidding!). Don't forget, in addition to the 8.6 million in gate attendance, most of those people will spend about 20 or so bucks on other stuff, many will spend more if the park can coax them to. A wildmouse is probably going to be the other coaster, hopefully a spining one, as they are cheap, moderately thrilling, Can be put into very small areas and, oh did I mention cheap?

They need to bring the Tidal Wave back. Shuttle loopers rule.
