This mania of charging extra for anything that isn't totally and completely annoying, is freaking retarded! Where's it going to end?
It's now cheaper to park at O'Hare airport (E lot) than it is at Great America! Am I the only one who sees that as absurd?
What happens when tools actually use this preferred parking? Will they raise the price, and increase the area? "Yes, for just $15 MORE, you too can park within the first 50 rows!" whoopee.
There's no end to this madness: For an extra $2, we'll cook you a fresh burger instead of giving you one of the ones that have been sitting around all day. We'll put an awning over one lane of the Vertical Velocity line, but you have to pay an extra $4 to stand in that line. For an extra $3 we'll give you a stroller that *doesn't* have one wobbly wheel. Want to throw out that trash instead of carrying it back to your car with you? $1, please! 50 cents will get you through the new gates in front of the drinking fountains (but these are the refrigerated fountains, that will cost an extra $5 to use). Love the back seat on Raging Bull? Drop $5 into the box, and enjoy your ride!
I *never* rag on Six Flags (and I love Great America - which is my home park), but this move is just the epitome of thoughtlessness and greed. Why Six Flags feels the need to force each guest to bend right over whenever they enter the property, it totally beyond me ... When a place like Holiday World seems to be doing just fine, simply by being nice to people.
I know that, currently, people don't HAVE to make use of these 'bend over' charges .. but soon there will be no other options.

And I'd ONLY use it if the lot were packed.
Of couse, if the lot were packed, I probably wouldn't even stay.
You know what, Cam, you're right. I wouldn't ever pay the extra $5. It's not really worth it, because I couldn't really justify staying with a parking lot packed to 294 anyway.
I-Nar, who sits on the damn fence so much, he should be a politician.

And how would Deja Vu make them more money? It's the general public that brings in the $$$, and they don't really care whats open 99% of the time.
You have to pay a crew to staff it, maintenance time and money. Thats why its been closed. Why pay someone to work it if it is going to be constanly plauged with downtimes.
I highly doubt that was an E-Stop at Bull. It should have been a simple let go of the enable button to stop the train.
