Whizzer was next. It was a walk on. The seats were not made for people like my girlfriend and I. It was cramped. It's great to only be held in by a seatbelt. The ride is too short and the layout could be better. But it's old and we forgive it.
Then we went on my favorite ride in the world, The Viper. 25 minute wait. It still has great airtime and lot of speed. For a wooden coaster, it is still smooth. We didn't get the last seats, but we were second to last. That was good enough.
The Raging Bull was next. 20 minute wait. It's fast and furious and completely smooth. I took notice of the on-ride camera. I would use this knowledge later in the day. The ride will last a long time and is probably the best ride in the park.
Then we went on The Great American Eagle. Only two people in our party would go on this. We made the other 2 suffer by waiting an extra turn for the first car. The line was about 45 minutes. The first drop is fast, but the helix took about an hour and a half to get through. It's still a gem, but it is a shell of it's former self.
It's only 5:00 now.
Roaring Rapids. We used a fast pass. The line was 45 minutes. We walked on. We got wet, but not as wet as usual.
Sometime in the day we went on the Sky Trek Tower. It's air conitioned. If that ride is 330 feet tall, than the Shockwave is about 200 feet tall and the Raging Bull is about 450 to 500 feet tall. Peculiar.
