SFGAm Season Passes at Dominicks

I don't know if this is accurate, but in today's paper, there was a Dominicks ad for SFGAm season passes. The advertised cost for a season pass was $49.99 with a preffered card. Is this accurate?

Does anyone know if any stores (grocery or otherwise) offer the SFGAm season passes in Wisconsin ? Specifically Madison, but Milwaukee would work too. Our park district offers regular tickets for $33, but no season passes.

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze

I don't know if there are any in Madison, but in Milwaukee you should be able to find a Pick'n'Save, they sell passes. Thats where I got mine. 80some bucks for one, but it's still cheaper than the park.

The preferred card is exclusive to Jewel food stores. Maybe you meant the Fresh card at Dominicks but anyway, I was going to check out Dominicks tomorrow anyway to see what kind of discounts they have. Highly doubtful at $49.99 but they offer cheaper passes regardless.

My best guess is that is a family pass, or a 4 pack, where each pass is $50.

Upon closer inspection, the pass says Six Flags America on it, has Batwing in the background, and has the SFA logo. It says that it's $10 less than at the gate. I doubt they'd be selling SFA passes in Chicago... I'm guessing that with name similarities and all, they're just being cheap again. It's just too good to be true.

Oh, and I did mean the Fresh Values Card. Thanks for pointing that out.

The only discount Dominicks in the Chicago area is offering is a 4 pack of season passes. I believe it comes up to be $72 a person including tax. I just got mine a week ago.
SFGAm are some greedy people...i'd guess that the 50 bucks is for each on the family four pack?
I went to Dominicks to get a refund and they had a big sign that said the Six Flags season pass is $84.85 and the $49.99 add was a misprint and they WILL NOT be selling the passes for $49.99 Sorry for the inconvienence. So I guess they had a lot of unhappy season pass buyers.
Bah Hambug.

Told ya. If you buy them in four packs it comes to $72 dollars a person....still not a bad price for a wonderful park. Two times pays for it.

If you don't care about having a SFGAm "home park" SF pass, and you can spare the (extra) 5 hour drive, Louisville area Kroger stores are selling SFKK passes for either $44.99 or $49.99 each. I bought my family's passes (5 total) there last weekend for $44.99 each. That's a total of about $225, where I would have paid $360 for SFGAm passes. Works for me.

Yeah same with me I went there and the same thing happened. I got it anyways. But I was still disapointed.

Well, I got my passes (4 pack) on Sunday, and yes, they have notes on the Ticketmaster Counter that the ad was indeed a misprint.

SFGAM is one of the few--if not the only--amusement park in the US that really doesn't need you to show up. It's the only major park in the #3 metropolis in America. It should be named 'Six Million Fish in a Barrel.'

They could easily draw 4+ million a year through the gates...but they don't wanna. Amazing.

I am agreed coastaplaya. It is also interesting to note that Great America has had one or two problems with bad advertising in the past. With V2 and Deja Vu last year. V2 was open but DV wasn't though SFGA advertised it was anyway. I still love SFGA though...
