SFGAm Search For Heroes Winners

Have any of you who entered the contest been contacted by the park for being a winner or not winning?

"Hey, that looks like Princess Diana. Oh wait, it's just a pile of rags."

Hasn't anybody gotten a response from the park? It's been several days from when they said the winners would be announced.

Do you mean the contest where all people named Clark or Kent can get to ride Superman on Media day? or is there a different contest going on that I am not aware of?

No, the essay contest.

I thought the essay contest was for S:UF at SFOG
I wish CP would do something like that.

I HEART OHIO

I think they are going to announce the winners to both contests this week sometime. I called SFGAM a couple of weeks ago about the Clarks and Kents thing for Media day and they said they are going to do the drawing the week before and will contact people after the drawing so be patient. Hopefully I will be one of the Clarks that gets the invite to Media Day.

I hope they announce the winners soon! Who else entered the the contest?

I noticed in your Signature you say your names Mike, how did you enter to be one of the Clarks or Kents if your name isn't Clark or Kent?

CD316...isn't it remotely possible that his last name is Clark?

I am sure "middle" names are considered as well.

Yes my last name is Clark and when I called SFGAM originally they said it didn't matter if it was your first or last name that was Clark or Kent.

So, any updates on winners being contacted?

The drawing is Tuesday so the winners will be contacted then.

Are they doing a drawing for the essays? That doesn't seem like a good way to find the winner.

Dude...it has been stated many times...Only you believe that SFGAM is doing an essay contest.

That is INCORRECT...SFGAdv did the Heroes essay contest.

SFGAM was looking for people whose names included "Clark" or "Kent". That is why they are doing a drawing...to pick which Clark's and which Kent's are to come to the Media Day...

Why don't you go look at SFGAm's website and go to park news. It's right there! They DID do the essay contest! So, did anybody else enter?

redman822. I thought the exact same thing you did that it was just a Clark and Kent contest. That the only essay contest was for SF Great Adventure. Unitl I relized my mistake.

So how many Clarks and Kents get to go on Meida Day? I forgot how many?
