SFGam Question

I know that Cedarpoint has the policy that if you're in line before the park closes that you'll get on the ride, but does Six Flags Great America have the same policy? Thanks.
Yes they do.

Yup. If you're in line by 10, they'll cycle trains until everyone has been on.
Every park that I've been in at closing time had that policy. At BGW one time I waited for Loch Ness Monster for 30 minutes when the restraints stuck closed after the park was closed and everybody in line got to ride. If I remember correctly, that was the trip where park employees were giving away bags of peanuts to guests as they (the guests) left the park,

Well, there's only one wrinkle.

If you're in a longish line for the front seat by the time the rest of the station clears out, they (at least the ops on S:UF) make you move to another row to get everyone through quicker.

Just something to note. Don't wait for the front if the back of the line is very close to you.

That is true for all rides, except at PKD where they will cycle through the front row line no matter how many people are in it.

All parks do not keep the rides open till close however. Many parks shut down the line prior to closing to get employees out of the park at closing.

When I visited sfgam, last friday, I was in line for Superman and they only let 4 people in line after us ( because it was 10) so we chose the back seat and we were on the last train of the nite! And also as we were leaving the park we got Corn Nuts or something like that! : )

SFA closed the superman line 20 minutes before closing when I was there late July. I was speechless. Still is. JK, Still am.
