SFGAm.. Q-bot or not??

I'm heading out to SFGAm in less than 2 weeks and was wondering if you guys think I will need a Q-bot to get on all the rides. Also I new that they used to have those paper things (can't remember the name now) and that they were getting Q-bots later this year. Do any of you know if they have those yet?? I want to get on all of the roller coasters and was wondering if you think I'll need anything or if the crowds won't be that bad. Any help is appreciated.

i'm not sure what to put here..

As for SFGAm they dont offer the QBot unless they started doing that recently. They just hand out "Fast Lane" tickets which essentially lets you cut in line for a price. Depending on how crowded it is the day you go and whether it is warm enough for people to be in the waterpark instead is what will determine whether you will really need to buy a Fast Lane pass or not.
Thanks. Yeah I know that later this year they are getting Q-bots. Another question... How much are the 'Fast Lane' passes??

I have not heard anything about the park getting the QBot. They did not have it as of Sunday nite, and why install it in the middle of the season? I would think they would have to get working on the signage too.

You can contact the park about the prices for the FastLane: (847) 249-4636.

And FastLane does not necessarily put you at the front of the line....just towards the front. You will still have some waiting to do.

Fastlane tickets are $15 for 4 laps. We ended up using them during our visit. Like the others said, it often puts you near the front of the line rather than right on the ride. We found some odd situations using it.

On Batman the line didn't even extend as far as the Fastlane entrance so there was no use (and still a 10 minute wait) - On Raging Bull the queue was full (and is relatively fast moving) and we didn't want to waste them, but time was running short. Fastlane cut our wait to 5 minutes give or take. Then Whizzer which had a huge, slow moving line put us right on the next train using Fastlane and skipping the 30 to 40 minute line.

It was a little weird, the rides I expected to have to use it on either had fast moving lines, short lines or a Fastlane entry spot that still had some solid wait while rides I never thought I would be using it on were in the long run the most beneficial.

I'd say expect to use it on low capacity or slow loading rides (V2, Whizzer, Iron Wolf) and then queue load for the faster moving rides even if they have a big line (Raging Bull, Batman)

Well SFGAM does not have q-bot and they arent getting it this yr. They are getting electronic fastlane though, I have seen the computers already. Fastlane is a waste unless your going on a weekend. The lines here are not that bad, I got on 38 total coaster rides last week. 38. However, if you do decide to buy it, dont use it on B:TR, or Bull. Use it on maybe V2 and S:UF. Whizzer if you have never been on it I guess.

I really dont think you will need fastlane.

Thanks guys.

Corkscrewy make sure and read the fine print on the Fastlane tickets.
We wasted four of them last year because they are only good up until a certain time. :(
