SFGam Opening Day (With exit pass, hehe)

Okay people, would you want to stand in line for an hour with some person that would piss you off until your about to blow, OR would you just want to wait in line without that? I didn't mean to start a big debate, but I guess you can't control some things.

Blink3020 most of the time when im in a six flags park im in line with people who piss me off so thats nothing new! Six flags parks have good coasters but when it comes to the behaviour of its guests i would take wdw/universal/busch Gardens patrons anyday as i dont see the line jumping/profanities yelled etc at those parks compared to six flag parks ive attened, escpecially on weeksends.

Please use the spell check button. What does the patrons of the park have to do with the park itself? Do you think these parks go out and handpick which type of people to bring in?

Right on Bob O. By Blink's faulty logic it could be a good idea to let anyone who smokes, smells, yells, curses, farts, or does any of a number of things go up the exit ramp. Heck, why don't we just make that the entrance? That's where most of the riders would be coming on from.

The point is, anyone who is capable of moving through the queues and waiting in line should do so. If someone with ADD is so bad they can't do these simple things, they need to have their meds upgraded. That's not meant as an insult, it's just the truth. I'm on drugs for anxiety and such, so should I get to go up the exit ramp? You never know, after 30 mins. in line I might just go crazy and start wreaking havoc. But if I'm that bad I need something other than an exit pass.

Chitown the minute you are perfect let me know as i wouldnt be as ignorant as to point out a simple spelling mistake. Six flags markets there parks to a younger crowd which tends to have more problems and then fails to properly supervise them and enforce their own rules when broken. Why else do you think there parks(six flags) need metal detectors when the parks i mentioned in my original post arent afraid of their patrons taking weapons into the parks. If you trust your patrons you dont search them for weapons do you? But if you cater to troublemakers then you have to search them as you want their money but dont trust them to act in a civilized manner. *** This post was edited by Bob O on 5/10/2001. ***

Blink, those are the posts we need much, much less of. What's the point of posting something like that?

I agree with Bob O that SF generally attracts a younger, wilder crowd than do others like Busch parks. Whether they intentionally market to the younger crowd or not is something I'm not sure of. But other parks put in plenty of family stuff and really create a theme park atmosphere, but SF is all about money and rides and they rarely make any attempt to create any diversions. I think that's why they tend to get a rougher crowd.

Bob O, I am ignorant for the grammar thing? I put your whole paragraph on Spell Check and came back with about 7 mistakes. Where on gods earth do you think that SF promotes younger crowds as opposed to other big chain parks? The metal detector thing you might want to think about. Kennywood from what I hear has metal detectors also. Before you start stereotyping certain things you might want to get educated before making such claims. I never said I was perfect and the very statement about me on that just makes you look foolish. All of these parks with the same atmosphere attract the same crowd. Stop thinking that a certain corporate park chain has an agenda for a certain type of element.
