SFGAm May 3rd opening day

Associated parks:
None

Ok we arrived at the park at like 9:15am and then we ran to the gates.Oh did anyone see me I was the Kid with the Long Blonde hair and The white Coaster Buzz T-shirt.We waited unitl they let People In to the Park. Our line was like the Only one not moving cause all these stupid teenagers had all this metal stuff with them. Ok it was like 9:45am and we finally got in. Then We ran to the Superman Line we were pretty far back we were at Ru De Lodge(bumper Cars)

The Line started to move at 10:04am by then Superman Had tested like 5 or 6 times already and I was ssoooo excited. We didnt have a very long wait it was about 10 mins but like 5 of those 10 was just getting thought the zig zag line thing in the Old shockwave Queue. The Themeing is awesome I cant Belive that Shockwave used to be there.I looks great I cant wait till there all finished all they really have left to do is the grass and so tree planting and cleaning up. Any way on to the ride. Quotes " this is the Best ride I have ever been on ... those G' are insane... I didnt know they had a Picture on Superman" lol.Seriously this is sooo fun I cant wait till Tommorow to ride It again.Easily the best ride ever lol.I love how every time a train is lifted into the Flying Positon everyone SCREAMS.I love the Seats on this ride.Look a this Pic I took it awesome http://groups.msn.com/kylecoasterworld/sfgammay3rdand4th.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=262

Ok Now on tho the rest of my day. After Superman we wanted to do it again and we proably should have cause the line never got smaller. But we were stupid and went to Iron wolf Still One of my all time favorites only a 5 min wait. Even After 13 years It still hold up its Reputaion. Then We headed to American Eagle cause I wanted to Check out the retracking. This really helped the Ride its Actually alot smoother in the Helix But every whare else its still the same BuMPy and SHAKEY.It was like a 2 min wait for Red forward and 5 min for Blue Backward. We wanted to Ride Raging Bull but the First Queue thing was already Full so we skiped it wich was another bad Idea you will see later. We went On viper still awesome ride Like a 15 min wait. then we went and got my friends Season Pass she didnt go to early pass processing like me.Then we got a fast lane which are $12.00 now. Then We decided to have lunch.

We Got our Hand Stamped and went to Burger King which I dont really like but you cant beat the Prices. Like 3.50 for Two Burgers and a Large Fry which in the park costs like 12 bucks.

We got back In the Park around 1:00 pm then we Checked out Superman Even though we knew It was gonna be a long wait and It was It was through every thing and out on to the path like all day.So we skiped and went to Batman And we used our First Fastlane on that the line was really long it looked like 45 mins cause it was out in other line stuff by ERC which is back up yeaaaa. Great Ride as always. They had the wheel covers just sitting by the Transfer track it was werid they looked like little alein ships covered in Plastic. One Girl Ride OP Noticed my CB shirt and Laughed.

Then we did Iron Wolf agian With our Fast lanes. Then we headed over to bull which was Broken Down I dont really know why. So then We headed to the Front of the park Then Headed back to Superman To Take more Pictures. Then We did Batman Agian with fast lane then headed back to Iron Wolf cause Bull was down then my Friend she noticed Bull had peole on it just before we were gonna use our last Fastlane on Wolf. So we ran and used our Last Fast lane on Bull I needed Airtime Bad And I sure got it I love Bull. They were even running it without the Trims on It was great. We went back row some guy who said he used to go to Coaster Buzz said hi to me cause of my shirt. And Right after the ride a Bull Ride Op said " oh no not a Coaster Buzzer" I just laughed. By this time it was like 4:45 we were Tired and we were getting picked up at 5:00 so we said Good bye to SFGAm for now.

I had An awesome day I hope every else did too. Superman Ultimate Flight Rocks The Best ride Ever seriously I love it. Nice report. Glad to see that you had fun. Now with more updated news reports, I think Raging Bull was closed because a young girl died on it, not because it was unoperational. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate tomorrow.
I saw holydumb 26 many times with his camera. I was wearing a black sweatshirt that said Volcom Stone and I hade blonde top hair. Did anyone see me?

Whats red yellow and blue at SFGAm...???

I musta been about 50 people behind you or so, i got in line for S:UF around 9:50am, rode around 10:50am (last row), I recognize some of the people from your pictures. After that, went to Viper and waited for about 10 - 15mins and then had to head off to work.

After work, I returned to the park around 7:45pm and managed one more ride on S:UF (rode it around 8:10pm), this time in row #2. I felt the front rows are actually more enjoyable for this ride, the pretzel loop is a bit more smooth & there is more speed in the turns (which adds a bit to those elements).

Iam not that kid that you saw blink but I did see him too I saw DejaVugurl also. I look like this http://groups.msn.com/kylecoasterworld/randomstuff.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=186 but I had a Tan Gap shirt over it but you could see the Coaster Buzz logo. I had a Small grey digital Camera

I got 5 rides on superman!

------------------
Check Out My WebSite: http://www.sfgreatamerica.com/

Yeah, I definitely saw you running out of the store by Superman. I might post a TR later, but the reason I was sitting there was they wouldn't allow backpacks in the line to make you pay for a locker, but my bag had a coat in it and was never gonna fit in that tiny locker and I didn't want my friend waiting there for me to find a spot for it, so I just sat there waiting for him to come off for about an hour. I finally ended up putting the backpack in a bin on Whizzer and I got it about 2 hours later, so I rode S:UF when it was at Whizzer. I also think I might have seen Chitown and Kick the Sky, if you two were at the park. Kick the Sky, did you have a shirt that said either FFH or PPH? If yes, then I saw you outside Superman. Chitown, if you had a pack of like 5 kids around you, then I saw you also. On the way to the park, I saw a gold Camaro with a coasterbuzz.com sticker on the license plate. Plus, I heard so many people talking about Coasterbuzz. We're getting famous!

Is the fastlane available for Superman? Because in this picture (http://groups.msn.com/kylecoasterworld/sfgammay3rdand4th.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=255)
It looks like it is. People are coming from both sides of the que, or is that the exit?

------------------
"To overcome the spiders curse, simply quote a bible verse. Thou shalt not...uh, screw this."
"Hey, that looks like Princess Diana. Oh wait, it's just a pile of rags."

That pic going into the station separates the front row from the remaining rows. Right lane strictly for the front, left lane for all other rows.

At least that is how they were using it today.

------------------
Arena football has arrived in the Windy City. Go "Chicago Rush"

No fastlane yet, your seeing where the front row line and the rest of the rows split up.

(EDIT: Chitown beat me too it.)

We'rt they going to paint a Superman logo in front of the que? Also, I hope grass starts growing cus it really doesn't sound that cool flying over dirt! By the pics it doesn't look like they're completley done with the que, because there's still no covering on the que cover things. I also hope they put a sign on the entrance.(a big one, but not that big)
It's still better than flying over concrete... ;)

Don't Fight It, Ride It, RAGING BULL!!!!!!- Six Flags Great America

You were in front of me in line for Raging Bull at the end of the day. My friend kept making fun of the GP by stating wild rumors. I said I was from coasterbuzz to, but don't really come here much anymore. Yeah...

Superman was really fun at night but the second half of the ride was too slow. The pretzel loop was probably the most amazing element I've ever been privy to ride and I was suprised I got a lot of air going down it. But besides the pretzel, I didn't think there was much force at all. It will be a lot better once the themeing is actually in, though. But as of now its just "average" too me.

It was also kinda stupid how small the text on the signs were. They need to move them closer to be able to read.

I rode S:UF in the back row first and felt it was kinda dull after the pretzel loop. I also thought the pretzel loop was on the verge of uncomfortable back there.

On my 2nd ride, I sat in row #2 and felt that the pretzel loop was nothing short of amazing. The flying turns actually had some force going into them as well.

As for the ride itself, they still arent done with everything, the places where the ride goes over the que, the tarps that cover the que are not up, and about 3/4 of the rails are painted blue, the others are still grey. There is what looks to be a fastlane entrance, they had someone standing there, but they were using the fastlane. He was just directing the people who didnt want to wait for the front, to move past. Another note, the on-ride phontos weren't working either. The flashes go off at the bottom of the pretzel, but there is no place to purchase the photos yet.
