SFGAm makes announcement Sept 1st on Facebook.

If you don't have their page liked, they have been removing puzzle pieces to get you wondering what the new attraction for the park will be for 2012. Based on the pieces that have been removed, this looks to be a B&M Wing Rider based on the artist rendering starting to match what Gardaland and Thorpe park released for their Wing Riders.

I'm hoping for a big coaster this year. It's been since 2003 when we got Superman, and since then we've gotten 2 mice. I really hope they deliver on this one, whatever it happens to be!

I wouldn't be surprised if they are getting a B&M Wing Rider. They've been the first (or one of the first) to build many of their products.

I totally expected another Green Lantern like at Magic Mountain, but now I am not so sure.

Same here, I thought it would be a Zacspin or Eurofighter. Glad to see it probably won't be either of those.

Is anyone else surprised at how quickly these wing-rider coasters are catching on? This will apparently be the 4th one we "know" about, and the concept has only be alive for a couple years.

(It's pretty evident already from the revealed artwork that this will be a wing rider.)

The question now becomes..."when and where is B&M going to (finally) show off their 4-D ride?"

Gator, how sure are we that B&M truly has a 4D ride to show off?

Im guessing it will have 5 inversions! Lol

"Know", or know? Because if anyone is willing to lay odds *against* at 3 years or under (i.e., running by the 2014 season), I'm buying! ;)

With the facebook "reveal", its 99% a wing rider. Great addition for SFGam!

That was an absolutely fabulous addition to the park (better than the Dark Knight, IMO). Dipper *really* helped fill in the kid's offerings, and offers an immense amount of nostalgia that the park made impressive efforts to emphasize/capitalize on. Only wish I'd been able to see it at night with the lighting turned on (park closed at 7pm Thurs/Fri).

Check out the new puzzle piece that was removed. This pretty much confirms it that its a Wing Rider. You can also make out what it says on top. "One of the first of its kind in the world"
