SFGAm July 21st 2002 - 11th trip this year
Thanks to Coasta Playa for this great easy to use format.

ARRIVED: 9:00 a.m.

LEFT: 10:40 p.m.

PARK APPEARANCE/ATMOSPHERE: Great as always, It was fiesta del sol week so they had lots of activities going on for people who didn't speak English. The temps reached 107 degrees I heard, it was a scorcher out there.

RIDE QUEUE TIMES: Short in the morning and later in the day but it got pretty packed for the afternoon.
BEST EXPERIENCE: Deja Vu ran great all day I was the first one on it in row 1a when it opened at about 10:30.

WORST EXPERIENCE: Sitting on Shockwaves train for 10 minutes as some guy complained to a Supervisor about losing a cell phone or something. I really wish they would have moved him to the outside of the exit to complain so they could have dispatched the train alot quicker.

MOST PLEASANT SURPRISE: The Magic Quest show, it was one of the best shows I have seen at Six Flags. The guy made a Nascar appear at the end which was very amazing. Plus it was a great break from the heat. He said he changes his tricks all the time so ill be sure to stop back in there and see it again someday.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Eagle was trimming hard at the end of the helix. This caused me to hit my head pretty hard against the headrest when going backwards. I guess its my fault thought that my head wasn't against the headrest like the sign says.

COASTER RANKINGS

WITHOUT FLAW:
Raging Bull
2 Awesome rides resulted in the best airtime I have ever got on this ride, plus this was the shortest line in the park. At one point both Whizzer and Shockwave had a longer line than Bull!

Deja Vu
2 awesome rides in the front and 1 good one in the back. It was running its best today. I never saw it break down once, and it was the first time I was ever in line for it and it didn't break down! My count is now up to 21 rides on it.

Iron Wolf
I can't belive my opinion about this ride has changed so much since the begining of the year. I had a awesome night ride on it, one of the best I have had in awhile. Whoever had the idea to lean into the harness on it was pure genious.

REALLY QUITE GOOD:
Viper
1 ride in back 2 rides in row 1:3. All three rides were great but the night ride on it deffintly was the best. During the day it broke down 2 trains before me. It was up again in about 10-15 minutes though.

ShockWave
Like I mentioned earlier they could have dispatched the train I was on alot quicker if they would have let the guy go out the exit to complain.

Demon
Back seat airtime heaven on the first drop and a nice ride after that.

V2
Provided the same ride it always does. I was lucky to walk by it and get on it right after a break down so I was able to get only a two train wait.

Cold Fries Bad
American Eagle (Blue and Red)
The worst rides I have had on these coasters the whole year! The trims at the end of the helix made the second half of the ride unenjoyable.

MAJOR NON-COASTER ACTIVITIES: Magic Quest, Space Shuttle America, East River Crawler

BEST NON-COASTER RIDE: East River Crawler

I dont want to take the credit if it wasnt me but i always say that iron wolf ranks up there with the rest of the stand ups if you just hold your head as hard as you can to the right of the ostr right after the corkscrew. Is this what you were talking about? I am going tomorrow and i am glad to hear that deja vu is running well as it is my number one coaster.
Good TR.
