SFGAm Improvements...or not?
I was at SFGAm today, and the supposed "improvements" didnt really improve much. Demon's new restraints are absolutely HORRIBLE. I came off the ride with the biggest headache. I also rode batman, and it definitely had new restraints. Very intense. Personally, I dont think the improvements to demon were really improvements...any opinions?
I think the whole park is a big improvement. It seemed a little cleaner than usual. All of the rides were running nicely. I thought the Demon restraints helped. I really like that ride now. I liked it last year too, but now it's better than ever. However, that cannot be said about Shockwave(IMO). With the addition of V2 and Deja Vu, this should be a great year!

The only bad part of the 'improvements' was the new restraints on Iron Wolf. If you are a big person like I am you may not be able to ride Iron Wolf. They now have seat belts on them and they must be able to latch it in order for you to be allowed to ride. The belt is very short and does not allow for much room to play. Guys with big upper bodies may not even be able to ride Iron Wolf with these new harnesses.

Iron Wolf got new restraints last year. As far as the park goes, I noticed a lot of improvements. Many more new game stands as well as the removal of portable food stands to actual wood houses/stands. I really liked the improvements I saw at the park.
Plus the addition of V2 and Deja Vu help.

First off, in the forums FAQ, it states: There is no need to shout, we can hear you just fine.
Second of all, you are wrong. Last year and every other year I can remember, it had light yellow, hard plastic restraints. I was just their saturday and it had new dark yellow restraints that were not hard plastic. Aparently you have not been there this year.

First off, in the forums FAQ, it states: There is no need to shout, we can hear you just fine.

Ok, SixFlagsGAm2001 works @ the park, I think he would know. There is something called cleaning and painting.
First off, the reason I was "SHOUTING" is because this is about the third or fourth time somebody has thought Batman recieved new restraints. Therefore, I understand that people can't hear me "just fine". And in response to being "wrong", no, I'm not. That simple. And to save my favorite thing for last: "Aparently you have not been there this year" You are right, it's not like I work there or anything.

Aparently, some people really do have trouble hearing ( you for one). I WAS THERE SATURDAY. I saw the new restraints. I rode Batman. THOSE ARE NEW RESTRAINTS. They were darker yellow and they were softer. You may be able to make a restraint darker yellow, but you can NOT make a restraint softer without totaly redoing it.
