SFGAm favorite ride (coaster)

Well it seems this subject of other parks is getting good response so I figured lets include SFGAm in the mix. Here is how I would put the coasters at the park from best to worst.
1. Raging Bull
2. Viper
3. Batman:TR
4. American Eagle (Red side)
5. Demon
6. Whizzer
7. Shockwave
8. Iron Wolf
I wont count Spacely Sprocket Rockets cause its a kiddie coaster.

"DONT FIGHT IT, RIDE IT",,,,RAGING BULL
Well i'd rate mine like this:
From best to worst:
1.Raging Bull
2.Viper
3.B:TR
4.Demon
5.American Eagle
6.Shockwave
7.Iron Wolf
8.Whizzer
9.Spacely Sprocket Rocket
1. Raging Bull - simply the best
2. Viper - most underrated wooden coaster in the US
3. Batman - short but sweet
4. Shockwave - what roughness?
5. American Eagle - first drop just as intense as Raging Bull's
6. Whizzer - great sense of speed through the dense woods
7. Demon - along with Shockwave, one of the few smooth Arrow coasters
---------------------------line between fun and not fun---------------------------
8. Iron Wolf - OUCH! especially with the new restraints *** This post was edited by Krazy on 11/7/2000. ***
1) Raging Bull. Up until two weeks ago I probably would have said...
1a) Viper. Amazing, simply amazing how much air.
3) Batman.
4) American Eagle.
5) Demon
6) Whizzer
7) Shockwave
8) Iron Wolf

That's my take

as my name suggests, SFGA is simply my life, here's my list:

1. Raging Bull - what can I say, it's my true love :) (never had much luck with women, lol)
2. Batman The Ride - "mommy, why is there 4 of you?"
3. American Eagle - great representative of classic racing woodie
4. Shockwave - get out your helmet, and elbow pads
5. Viper - just great!
6. Iron Wolf - Warning! Private parts murderer! don't go on this ride if you plan on having children in the future
7. Demon - it's not like it got stuck mid-loop or anything
8. Whizzer - Never take it out! A really nice starter for kids and just a nice classic coaster!

1. Raging Bull -- My #3 steel is all that and a bag of chips. Excellent airtime, fun tunnel, and the second best first drop in all of coasterdom. Oh, and the trains kick butt, too. Row 9, back left is seat of choice.

2. Batman The Ride -- I'm a real sucker for inverteds, and this one packs quite a punch. Out of all the Batmen I've ridden (everyone except SFoT) this one is the best. Best scenery and queue line.

3. Viper -- severly underrated woodie (although it's getting the recognition it deserves now) that has some spectacular airtime both front of the train and in back. Nice long ride with awesome 3 bench PTC's and no seat belts!

4. Iron Wolf -- I *love* the intensity of this coaster! It's the most out of control B&M stand up I've ever been on (all except PGA's Vortex). Fantastic setting in the woods. I think I'm the only one who doesn't find this coaster rough at ALL.

5. American Eagle Red -- Awesome height and speed on the way out, and some pretty good air on the way back with the brakes off.

6. Shockwave -- The ride has gotten much better lately. I think the front row is quite a rush with all the speed. Has to be the ugliest setting for a coaster though. :-\

7. American Eagle Blue -- Same as red except this one has more braking and the way home has only one or two hills, both which don't perform.

8. Demon -- Really great first drop on this thing. I love the tunnels also, and okay hangtime in the corks.

9. Whizzer -- Just because it's last doesn't mean I don't love it! This is the best "night ride" SFGAm has. It goes through the trees at a nice clip and it's so relaxing. I love the uniqueness of it and hope it's around for a long time.

10. Spacely's Sprocket Rockets -- Vekoma kiddie coaster. Not much else to say. :)

Z-Force!!! Oh wait. Sorry, long time ago. I actually hated that!

Since I haven't ridden RB yet, I'll have to leave that one to the imagination for the moment.

Love Viper! Gotta stick with that at Num 1.

2. Shockwave
3. American Eagle
4. Batman
5. Demon
6. Iron Wolf (still prefer Riddler)
7. Whizzer

My list is as follows-
1- Raging Bull
2- Batman the Ride
3- Shockwave
4- Viper
5- American Eagle
6- Iron Wolf
7- Whizzer
8- Demon

Viper. Hands down(or up);).
Eagle. Red side, always. If only blue is running, I'll come back later.
Raging Bull.Should be brakeless, feels too restrained, like it's not being allowed to run to its full potential, but good nonetheless.
Demon. Never get tired of riding it, at night, black train, last seat. Awesome hang time in all the loops.
Whizzer. 'Nuff said. Where is that ACE classic coaster ranking it so deserves?
B:TR. First row, far right, legs STRAIGHT OUT!! Amazing watching that track unfold from "behind you"(optical illusion) in a way that even Raptor doesn't have. I love the feeling of being pushed that B:TR has in the front too.

Won't touch Shockwave of Iron Wolf anymore. Too many headaches have ruined too many trips.

"Brak presents the Brak show starring Brak!!!"
1) Whizzer - not a record breaker unless you count the fun factor, my favorite at this park.

2) Viper - Awesome woodie, smooth and fun.
3) Raging Bull - Ride'em cowboy!
4) Iron Wolf - Arrruuuuuuu!
5) Batman - Holy Bat$#!@ a good clone.
6) American Eagle - good woodie.
7) Spaceley Sprocket's Rockets - I know what you are thinking, but it actually threw my girlfriends sunglasses. Smooth too.
8) Demon - the tunnels make it.
9) Shockwave - rivals FOF for steelie pain.

Just a note to backseat: B:TR is the original invert. All the others are clones. :)

"Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious." - Brendan Gill
1) Viper- I love this coaster! The only woodie I like better is the Beast at night.
2) BTR - have to ride in the middle or I get serious head bang tho.
3) Bull- like the floating sensation.
4) Eagle- getting too old and rough
5) Demon- good one to start kids on
6) Whizzer- another good one for kids
7) Iron Wolf- too much headbang
8) Shockwave- chickened out with a thunderstorm approaching, and never tried again. Mr. Dek knows I don't like rough coasters, so he doesn't think I would like it.
Shady Z, as long as we can bring up past rides, I would say Tidal Wave. But, for now it is of course the Bull.
Didn't realize we could bring up past rides. If I had to pick my ALL-TIME fave, not just out of the current crop, I would have to go with Tidal Wave all the way!!! And it's not just becuase it's gone, either. Nothing better than that end-of-the-night, no-line-12-rides-in-a-row Tidal Wave and the "See you back here in 33 seconds" then WHOOOOSHHH!! You're launched and out of there!!! GOD I MISS THAT RIDE!! Guess it's a trip to SFOG for me this summer!!!

"Brak presents the Brak show starring Brak!!!"
1-Batman: the Ride: short and sweet. B&M did a great job for the first invert.
2-Viper: AIRTIME MONSTER!!!
2-Raging Bull: not as much airtime, but it has the other two good things-height and speed
4-Shockwave: the height and speed and inversions make up for the roughness
5-Iron Wolf: the twisted track used to be rough (I hear) but with new restraints, one heck of a ride!
5-Demon: smooth for an ARROW CORKSCREW thats OLD!
7-American Eagle: height and speed are great
8-Whizzer: the best is yet to come for this coaster (hopefully)
9-SSR: too small

Ah, Roller Coasters.
An hour wait for a two minute ride.
1. Batman the Ride - The best inverted I've been on keeps me coming back for more.
2. Viper - I love the air on this ride which really sparkles at night
3. Raging Bull - A Great B&M coaster that is smooth as they come and still delivers some air and a few G's along the way.
4. American Eagle (Red before Blue) - Depending upon how it is running, though. Sometimes I fly so high out of my seat and I land on the seat divider... Ow!
5. Whizzer - The slow throughput has prepared me for things to come at Great America but this ride is really fun to ride. I wish someone would make a really big one of these without say the big lift helix.
6. Demon - I'm not a fan of Arrow loopers and this thing just crawls thorugh the track as I walk underneath.
7. Iron Wolf - Back when this thing opened it was one of my favorites but oh how times change. I can't wait for it to end as soon as it starts and there's way to much pressure on my legs. I can't get comfortable on this thing and I hope they replace it soon.
8. Shockwave - Another one that use to be my favorite long ago but I've ridden it twice in the last three years because it just plain sucks! Headbanging Arrow that makes me feel nautious.
