SFGAM Fans - Help me out here.

http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery746.htm?Picture=6

This picture is giving me a headache, and I hope its just not me.  First of, Deja Vu looks like its at a strange angle compared to the midway, next, I see the enterance to American Eagle, but where is the ride?  Is it just out of the picture?  I am staring at this picture, but it just seems wrong to me.  Anyone else?  (I hope not :) )

Eagles back there I can see the station and the very start of the lift, in the middle of the picture right above the cobra loop.
That's not SFGAm. Too much stuff (houses, etc.) behind it. Is that SFoG???

I have to agree with EchoVictor. There should be a Old Fashion car track over there by the water ride.

It is definately SFoG.  the paths are all in the wrong places.  Not to mention that, from that angle, you'd see B:TR to the left...and, the terrain is not hilly at all, so that eliminates SFMM.  Which, by exclusion, means it has to be SFoG

it's weird though, if you look at the Deja Vu pictures from SFoG, it doesn't look like that either......

No no no, that is SFGAm.  You can see the entrance to eagle (the big tent) by the left tower and the station is right behind the right tower.

It is without a doubt Great America.  You can see the circus tent which houses the line for the Eagle at the left of the picture, and you can see Splashwater Falls to the right of the picture.  The antique cars are there - the station (red) is immediately to the right of the vertical loop on Deja Vu.  There are plenty of houses around Great America - it's in the middle of a suburb.  The locals constantly complain about the sound every time Great America proposes a new ride.  And Great America is about as flat a park as you could find - it's in northern Illinois.

For a wider angle, check out the fifth picture on this web page:

Be sure to check out all the pictures at that site.  Amazing aerial photography.

That is definitely Great America.  No doubt about it.  You can see the tent near American Eagle in the background.
weird.....it is GA. It looks so strange in the rcdb pic.....but I've never seen it from above!

Definitely SFGAm. My daughters dentist is in that plaza building in the backround.

"The Peoples Elbow" or "The Spinaroonie?. Cant decide which is the most electrifying move in sports entertainment!!! LOL
Since there were so many "this is SFoG" remarks at the top, I think I'd better go ahead and agree that it definately is SFGAm. The red bridge over the antique cars. The American Eagle's queue tent. I'd go on, but I've gotta go. Conclusion: It's SFGAm no doubt about it.

P.S. the Eagle's lift starts directly above the drop of Splashwater Falls

Since I was there the day Joe Schwartz took that picture, I can say it's SFGAm. :)  But you already knew that.

It was taken from the Sky Trek Tower.

the reason Deja Vu's angle looks wierd is because the midway you see is over by farmers market, but Deja Vu's entrance is in the little dead end by demon and the climbing wall.

And, YES, it is SFGAm, my mom's work is in the little office complex in the top left corner.

Well at least the picture did not just seem weird to me, i'm glad it threw some of you for a loop.  I didn't think it was GA either untill I saw the eagle tent and splashwater falls, it still looks weird to me though.
OK, so if it's my beloved Great America, WHERE is the Sky Whirl? :)
