SFGAm: Deja Vu Paint Job

Am I the only one who thinks Deja Vu, in its current state, looks terrible? The blue paint is flaking away to reveal what looks like a lighter blue primer. Has anyone else noticed this? The are far older coasters in the park which have not gotten repainted but still look fine! I mean, come on, its bad enough that its been closed every time I'm in the park, but its even starting to be a crappy-looking, non-functioning ride!

***Gotta love RAGING BULL!!!***

Its looked that way since it opened, this isn't paint chipping off but rather a bad touchup job I bet.

Yes the lighter blue paint is touch up paint because when a coaster gets transported the supports get banged around and they have to touch it up. The touch up paint they used wasn't matched perfectly and faded quicker than the rest of the original paint.

Agreed, the ride looks really bad. Every time I look at it, all I can think is "What a peice of junk...". I liked the ride experience, but I think its an investment that six flags is regretting and a ride that I think would be better off in a smaller park. My only hope is that right now, it is getting what it needs to operate alittle better than last year and the year before.
Paint Job....? I thought it wasn't even running. I could deal with the paint, but really would like to ride it when I head up north this summer. Is it running? Last time I heard, it wasn't.

Neuski,

As of last weekend (CBuzzCon) there was no train on the ride, and no sign of one anywhere...

From what I hear, you'll be lucky to see it run this year. The trains are being re-designed.

SFGAm...When you need a good example of a SF park, this is where you look.

Let's just take it this way, would you rather see the ride painted all nicely, or running properly and you being able to ride it? Lets not get knit picky here folks.
Goccyp, only redesigned at SFGAm? Makes little sense.
