SFGAm Construction and Flyers

I was just at SFGAm today and I saw construction. Déjà Vu is progressing nicely. One tower support is up, as is the Boomerang track and loop supports. Nothing more that I could see as far as that. V²-Vertical Velocity had one visible support up, and according to one of the employees, track laying has begun. That employee also confirmed that Déjà Vu will have V-arrangement cars, not face offs. Second of all, In their flyer, not only have they dyed two-face green, but to show that the cars are not face off, they "erased" half of the legs in the trains. Unfortunately, they weren't intelligent enough to realize WHICH SIDE to erase. They erased so the train is starting backwards. No detail is sacred anymore. Also, one more depressing tidbit. Both Déjà Vu and Vertical Velocity will not be opening until late spring, unlike us "we hope it's open May 5th"ers believed.

More pics are up!
That is great, I will probably get some construction pics up on monday or something. I like how Rob updates the page frequently.

SFGAm:The Place to be on May 5th!
2 for 1 in 2001!
When I went to get my season pass(3/31/01) some worker told me that the new coasters would both be open on May 15th.
May 15? That would stink if they weren't open for opening day. Even if they aren't I'll still go because it's been 3,4,5 months since I've ridden a coaster.

I heard that the second tower on DV is rising and the spiral spike

-ROFLMAO!!! I love his commercials
Well, on V2, I saw a pic of a piece of track (Twisting) being put on another. I wouldn't think it takes that long to stack a few peices of track on top of each other. The first spike should be done by now, or within a day or two.

"4 Seats are better than 2"
I went inside the park today, and at very least most of the spirally track is attached to the support. I couldn't get close to it; it was pretty high, though. If that first tower isn't finished, it's pretty darn close. Deja Vu doesn't seem to have made much progress since Rob's last picture.
Pictures updated again!! 4/9/01
