Anyways, I went on Thursay and got to the park at like 10 to 9. We (my cousin and I went) used our season parking pass and got a close parking spot. Then we were delighted to see no one in line for several of the entrances. 9:30 came, season passes scanned, and it was off to the races. It was so much fun, we were the first to Superman by a good minute. We were the first two in line, it was sooo exciting. Then, a phone rings at about 5 to 10, it's not going to open at 10. Oh well, 10:03 comes around and it opens, and we get the first row on the first train of the day. Now, I do like the back row best, but have never ridden in the front so we gave it a try. It was a great ride; the turns were more fun in the front and I enjoyed the negative g's on the pretzel loop.
The rest of the day was great. We walked on B:TR then V2. We then went all the way around to Bull and got in back row in about 10 mins. We did every other coaster in the park except Spacely's and DV of course. I also had my "silver anniversary" on Raging Bull. It was my 25th ride which is an accomplishment for someone like me who just got into coasters a couple years ago. It was great.
Coaster Total:
RB - 4
S:UF - 3
Viper - 3
AE - 1
IW -1
B:TR - 1
V2 - 1
Whizzer -1 (I hadn't ridden this since 2000 so I gave it another shot. It's a good family ride, that's about it.)
Demon - 1 (First ride in the back row. Interesting on the drop getting airtime into a shoulder harness.)
We also got quite a few flats in:
Giant Drop - 1
Triple Play -1
River rocker - 1 (My favorite flat in the park.)
Condor - 1
Sky Tower - 1
East River Crawler - 1 (This was my first ride on this and I loved it.)
A couple down points. What don't people get about no loose articles on Superman? One woman tried to stuff her cell phone and cigarettes into her sandals. She cause a good 2 minute delay while the ops told her she had to secure it with her. Then her phone rings and she answers it!!! I couldn't believe it. Some people. Also, Raging Bull only ran two trains all day. Finally, it was not nice to see the Viper ops race each other while checking lap bars. They were litterally running through the station tapping the lap bars. It was still a great ride. Overall, it was an awesome day. It is nice to go and spend absolutely nothing for a whole day at the park.
Anyway... glad you had a good trip.

I could not agree more.

I think you are right , from all the trip reports they have not put 3 trains on at all this year. Whats up with that.Jay
Actually, they have run Raging Bull with 3 trains many times this year.
