This was my second trip in five days to the park, and of course it was raining again. I got there at 9:45, but they didn't let anyone in till exactly 10am. I went straight for V2 and there was no one in line, in fact i got the first ride of the day in the front car.
After that we hit V2 four more times all with no wait. We then headed off to Batman for 3 rides and then we discovered that the calvary had arrived. About 30 or so buses hit the park, all filled with mostly kids in middle school. This managed to make lines a little long, but nothing more than half an hour. Still, my friend and I were stubborn so we decided to take it easy till the buses left.
A good deal of the non-coaster rides were closed down, along with Iron Wolf. We went on to hit a few random rides, catch a bad music show, and grill out in the parking lot. We noticed that Deja Vu's track still isn't even complete, and the cars are no where to be seen, and they were testing the blue train on AE on and off.
Then around 6pm or so the real fun began as most of the kids left on their buses and about 700 people were left in the park. Then from 6-9pm we maganged to hit viper 18 times (16 in a row), Raging Bull 12 times (10 times in a row), and for the finale V2 11 times in a row (continuing from earlier, we managed to sit once in every seat and twice in front). We also got the last V2 ride of the night on the front car, so we got the first and last rides of the day, and in the front at that.
Needless to say it was a great day, though i was feeling a little ill at the end of it after 53 coaster laps total, and most of those coming in the final 3 hours. I was also pretty happy i didn't spend a $ in the park outside of parking. Too bad I won't be able to get too many more days like this at 6flags.
Man ! And to think I usually go on Tuesdays too. Wish I had been there.
I'm planning on going Thursday. It' sucks 'cause my van wouldn't start today. I hope I have it fixed (or replaced) by then !
Thats pretty cool. I thought my 10 straight rides on Batman was alot. ;) Any ways good TR.

Why does the Iron Wolf break down so often?
I don't think it was a mechanical thing on Iron Wolf as much as it was that they didn't have enough people, a few ride ops were telling me they were short handed that day.
Holy cow!!! That is a lot of roller coaster riding in one day. Dang, I can't wait until I come there in July.
