Ok I was a Great America on Thurday the 30th. This was a normal day at the park or was it? Some little destruction is going on right now. The Inverter Ship ride Power Dive is gone. The entire ride has disappeared. It's leaving a lot big enough for a fair size ferris wheel thats about it. Deja Vu today was closed, no surprise. But throughout the day it was testing with four 25 pound sandbags in each of the seats. It valley Twice during the day and got misplaced in the station, by this I mean it wasn't all the way into the station. Also sometime this week the people a great america built new signs and painted a line on the line of Great America. During the day I talk to someride ops on Vertical Velocity for a while. While I talked to him he told me that for the 2003 season there will be some type of new ride. He didn't say weather it was a flat ride or a Coaster. All I wish is that this new ride will be a thrill ride and not a up down and around ride.

Great update, intresting indeed! I'll gaurentee a new ride for SFGaM next year, a good shot at being a major coaster.
