Hi everyone. To start, the forecast called for rain so the park wasn't that crowded.
It was a very productive day for coasters, I rode 7 of the 8 that I could. (I don't consider Giant Drop a coaster and I cannot ride Spacely't Sprockets Rockets.)
RAGING BULL
waited just under an hour for the front row. I have never ridden in the front of RB and I thought it was just awesome. The rush you get going down the first drop is so cool, and even in the front the air time was good. The trim brake entering the third hill didn't seem to slow us down too much. I rode again three times near closing, once in the back row and twice near the back. The trim brake that I mentioned before was even less of a slow down, and the slight drizzle gave great effect. What a ride!!!
VIPER
nearly walked on. Waited for the back, so about a 20 minute total wait. Viper gives amazing air time, which I love, especially in the back row. This small woodie is finally starting to get a little rough, but it wasn't too bad, and I still love this ride. However, I only got to ride it once :(
IRON WOLF
waited around 20 min. The first time I rode it, it seemed much smoother than last year, and I believe it had new harnesses, they were yellow and I don't ever remember seeing them before. However, the second time I rode, it was very painful. I used to love it, but it is declining with age.
BATMAN: THE RIDE
waited a rather long time for the front row. It was worth the wait. The original inverted coaster still packs a punch, and I love the front. I had not been on this in well over a year, so I had forgot how many inversions there were. I rode again with a very short wait in the way back, where it seems a whole lot faster. Even though it is extremely short, it's a great ride.
SHOCKWAVE
walked on.
