SFGAm-5/25/01

Well my school gets out at 2:25, so me and my friends decided that we would go to GA today.
We arrived at the park at about 4:30. Seeing that the park was empty was a good sign that it was going to be a good afternoon. We went through the gates, and headed straight towards V2 (What a surprise, this was my first time, BTW).
We first saw the ride in action, and it sure did look sweet. We waited 1/2 hour for our first ride in the back row. V2 blew me away! I never expected anything like that. I loved every second of this ride. A must-ride, and I can't wait to go back for A LOT more. I mean a lot more.
Any ways, after that rush of adrenaline, we went to hit Batman. With the park being empty, we waited about 5-6 minutes for the 2nd to back row. Batman is rocking as usual. I love this ride. You have to put your feet out and hold our hands out. It's the only way.
Then we decided to hit V2 again since it's right across from Batman (I love how the two coasters are right next to each other, it's a great Combo). This time we went for the front row. Let me tell you, if you can only ride V2 once, go for the front row! It is the best seat. The spiral looks really cool from the front row. That was a 1hour 15min. wait.
Then we got a quick bite, and headed for the Southwest Territory. We hit the bull first, with a 7 minute wait. 2nd to back row, you got to love this ride. Smooth, and fast, that's how I like it!
This is a really cool part. We were going on Viper, and we just WALKED on the ride. There was about 4 other people in the station with us (No joke). After our first ride, we saw nobody was waiting for our row. We got to go another time, without getting out of our seat, can you say re-ride? When we got back from our second trip, there was still nobody waiting for our row. 3rd trip! (Without getting out of our seat) Finally after our 3rd straight ride, we decided to call it a day.
Overall it was a great few hours in the park. This is one of the few times I have seen it so empty, and on top of that V2 made my day.

I was there on 5/25 as well and arrived at about 2:30 pm. The park seemed moderately crowded but was walk on city by the end of the day. Getting rerides on the Woodies is great since they have some of the longest queues in existance. I finally tried Viper in the third row an man, what a ride. Completely filled with air time in places I've never experienced air time before.

Thanks to a thread in coasterbuzz talking about Raging Bull and the back seat being the best seat I thought I would give it a whirl. Incredible. Best row on the train with once again with air time in places I've never experienced it on Bull before.

you going to get some new V2 pix up sometime Blink3020? i haven't seen it opperating yet, just construction pix. sounds awesome! (the ride). :)

I'll try to get V2 pics up as soon as I can. I didn't use up the whole roll of film, so I didn't want to get them developed yet. Then with my digital camera, I ran out of batteries. :(
