Associated parks:
None

I got to the park at 9:30. I went straight to Raging Bull. I got front row. Then I went to Viper and went in the back row.
I waited 1 hour for front row on Batman. Whirligig is finished being reassembled. I went on American Eagle. For some reason, they only had one train on the blue side.
Deja Vu is finished but the trains aren't there yet. I headed over to see if V2 had been fixed yet. They were working on the LIMs. I was going to go to Whizzer but when I looked back at V2 they had started testing it. It looked like they might open it. I went back and joined the line of people waiting for it to open. I watched it test 8 times with out an incident but then something went wrong. I don't know what, but they told us it just broke down again and that it would not open at all tonight. I went on American Eagle again and then I went on Whizzer. By now, it was 8:30. I went on Batman and went home
Gee, sounds like you had a boring time.

Sunday 5/20 - V2 was running with no problems. It opened until 1:30 and operated until park close. We walked by for the first ride and everyone was clapping when it finished. Deja Vu is almost done except for some elevator lift issues and the station.

HAHAHA!!!!

I was there last Thursday, and they were testing. A friend who works at the park told me they were going to open it at 4 pm (Thursday). Well, they didn't open it, but I was told that it -might- open on Friday, and if not, on the weekend for sure. Since I had a season pass, and I was in Chicago on Friday anyway, we decided to go again. They DID open it on Friday (5/18). I rode it !!! It is awesome...the exit from the station is FAST !!! We rode the last car, so we didn't get much from the spiral, but the height and the "catch" on the straight tower is great ! Seriously - it was open on Friday. I wish I would have ridden it twice. The line was full, but the wait wasn't bad - about 45 min. Can't wait until it's open permanantly (I thought it was). At least I can say I rode it on the first day !!! =)

Yeah, your TR kinda sucked.

Georgia Scorcher...OH yeah it's fire baby!!!
I was at the park that day too. I was in line for V2 for 3.5 hours while they were testing it. It was fun though because the only people that stayed that long around me were enthusiests. Had some neat conversations. If any of you that were in line with me, I was the lanky kid that was gonna go in the first row with that other guy buy himself. I feel kinda dissapointed that we didn't say our names. Oh well. *** This post was edited by Scott Sweeney on 5/25/2001. ***
