Associated parks:
None

It was cold. Let me start by saying it was cold. High in the mid 40s.

So anyways, after a 2 1/2 hour bus ride, we get there aroudn 9:30, and in the park at about 10 to 10. First me and a couple people (who I continuously became more and more annoyed with) went to Raging Bull, as DV was closed still. Back seat ride, oh my god it's insane when it's cold! Going up the lift is freezing, but once you're going, you don't slow down and don't notice the cold.

Next the stupid group wants to go on V2. I think 'it's on the other side of the park! NO! We are not doing that!' Thankfully, we didn't. We went on River Rocker. I almost fell asleep, would've if it wasn't for me making smart remarks and yelling at how great Power Dive is.

Next half the group wanted to play games. Me and See went to AE, rode back (front) seat, she was scared, but loved every second of it. Better than on the 4th, it seemed more forcefull yet.

Onwards to V2. Skip Iron Wolf, but See and I went on Fiddlers Fling. It was my first time on the outside, and it gave me a new appreciation for that ride. Oh my god, Calypsos are tourcher devices! First I hit my head on the canopy, then I get crushed, then hit my head on the canopy!

We go by V2, and there the line is too long, so 2 people get airbrush shirts. That wasted 20 minutes, and we go to eat.

After getting back in the park, we goto Sky Trek Tower and Space Shuttle America. Both sucked, and my group had troubles understanding 'walk all the way around' on Sky Trek.

Whizzer was next, I went alone, the other 4 went in pairs. I enjoyed it, they did not (because they were squished!) Anton, you are the man! I love that ride. This ride was the only coaster I hadn't ridden yet this year.

So, after walking around for a while, continously correcting the direction the morons were going in, we come to Condor and Shockwave. After a ride on Condor, I was freezing. I go on Shockwave alone, and the gate is open along the exit, so I ride it twice. Getting off is when the day suddenly gets better. The rest of my group goes back to the bus! I'm alone! Freedom! No more morons! Stupid people begone! YAY!

So, I walk through Orleans Place, and come up to V2. I see that it has a short line... and a ride attendant that says it's broken down at the entrance. Oh well, it's not like I havn't been on it before. I know all 3 rides, back, middle, and front, so I don't care much.

Skip Batman, Iron Wolf, AE (was going to go on, but I couldn't see if it had a line or not.), and ended up on Demon. Back seat solo. I love the first drop, and through the loops, I looked to the side to get a strange 'rotating world' view. I forgot to do that on Shockwave, but after 14 loops, you forget what you're doing. I have riding Demon down to a science, I had absolutly no head/neckbanging.

I start heading to Hometown Square and notice I still have an hour. I head to Viper. The line is to the curve before the station. I knew I could wait it and be on time... if only that were the case. I had to be on the bus by 5, and I got in line at 5 after 4. After getting in the station, I goto last car, 1st row. Because of how many people can cram in the station, it had a long line, about 10 cycles... Too bad only 1 of the 2 trains filled the back car, so I waited 20 cycles. By the time I got on, it was 4:35. It wasn't the best ride on Viper I've had. That really made me mad, for the wait was way too long for how short the line was. I had to book to get back to the bus on time, and on the way I stopped at a Nutty Bavarian stand to get some cinnammin cashews. I was in a hurry, so I grabbed 2 and didn't pay attention to what they were, payed, but the stupid guy didn't know how to use the register, and took about 60 seconds to give me 5 dollars in change... for some reason in singles, not a 5, which he grabbed first then put back. I got back to the bus with 5 minutes to spare, and just got home an hour ago.

I determined 2 things on this trip. School trips suck, and The American Eagle is officially better than Viper.

When did American Eagle get more airtime than Viper?

So you were one of the many busses that pulled into the park. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!! :)

""To be the man, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!, You got to beat the man""!!!

AE on a good day is better than Viper on a mediocre one, but Viper is better than AE on average.

Where was the DV train?

It was in motion. They were testing it today.

Did you go today as well? Two straight days?

Yep. I was only at the park today for a few hours.

Man. It's only mid-May and you seem to have equaled last year's visit totals already.

And you've never gotten to ride Deja Vu.

Well, I'm thinking that Viper runs really well in warm, but, it's only average in cold weather.

Trbiggar, did viper have any airtime?

If you're telling that to me, yes, I have been on DV.

Kyle W, Viper had airtime, but not as much as American Eagle.

Not only was Deja Vu testing, but at least 200 people were congrigating around it, waiting for it to open. Stupid people should have went to a ride to ride, not to watch and wait for it to open!

No, Biggar, I was talking to Chitown. By the way, 200 people sounds like an exaggeration, no offense. The midway would've had to have been completely jammed back to Southwest Territory. Not calling you a liar, I just think you might want to reconsider how much space 200 people would occupy.

I was just using the number to give you an idea that there were way too many people hoping for the impossible. Don't take everything so litterally...

Quite a few people were standing by the ride hoping it would open. With only maintenance people running the ride and no ride-ops in sight, it was pretty obvious it wasnt going to open.

Heck, I watched people near Batman start hauling booty toward DV. They found out the hard way when they got there. :)

lol that was hillarious seeing all the high schoolers run towards DelayJa vu. Is every day till Memorial day "Physics day"? The parking lot has been empty Thursday and Friday but the bus parking was full......Just ticks me off a little bit.

Accually, the tickets my classmates got said Math and Science Day: Valid through September 22nd. Physics day was accually 2 days last week when the park wasn't open to the public.

But yeah, it was funny seeing people run to Deja Vu as soon as it tested one time.

One test=Ohmygoditsgonnaopenletsrunthererightnow!
