I got to Great America at about 6 and headed to Shockwave. There was no line, so my dad and I got on. Now, up until now, he last time my dad rode Shockwave was in the early 90's. I thought the roughness would scare the crap outta him, making for a nice on-ride photo. Wrong! We sat in the 3rd to last row and it was my smoothest ride of the year. Hey, I'm not complaining.
Then I headed over to Iron Wolf. On the way, my dad stopped at Mooseburger Lodge to get a beer and said he would wait for me at Iron Wolf's exit. I ran to Iron Wolf, only to find out that the line was about a half hour. I don't mind a half hour line, I just don't like waiting half an hour for something that I could get on in 5 minutes at a differrent time.
So I went back to Mooseburger Lodge, got my dad before he bought a beer, and we headed to American Eagle. My dad decided for some reason that he would wait for me at the exit. I got in line, and I ran all the way up to the part of the line right after you go down the final stairs and then you twist and turn alot before you get to the Red Blue sign. Yes! I thought, this wil have a 20 minute line if they are running it fast. I was wrong. 45 minutes of waiting for the blue side. When I went on, I had a great ride, lots of airtime, but nothing like the red train last week. So I was disappointed with that.
Then I headed over to Ragingn Bull. The line was pretty full, but I wanted to go on, so I got in line. This time, I got my dad to go along. He went on it once last year, and this was his first time this year. After waiting 45 minutes, we got in the second to last row. Great ride! Especially in the dark at around 8:20. My dad loved, and said it was his new favorite ride. He got off, and I filled seats and got on 3 more times, my last ride in the very back. Oh yeah! That made my night.
After that, I headed towards the xit and got on Shockwave in 5 minutes, went on 3rd to back row, and had a good ride.
After that, my dad said it was time go. 7 coaster rides in 3 hours wasn't bad for last night because it was really crowded. I had a fun time.

I was there yesterday too. Did you see when the red train on American Eagle got stuck at the top of the lift? It happened right after I got off. They fixed and then it got stuck in the same spot within an hour.
Are you serious?! I was on the blue side going up the lift and I saw red stuck. I probably saw you and didn't know it was you.

I wasn't on it when it got stuck. It was the train after mine. I had just got off when it happened
And the saga continues of 2 Coasterbuzz members who just missed eachother. LOL!!
I refuse to touch this park on a weekend. Its crazy. My first trip there will be on a Monday and Tuesday.
