SFGAM 2003 season passes

I wanted to buy three SFGAM 2003 season passes for the kids and I - whatta great xmas present, right? Wrong! Turns out they are only for sale on the internet and they won't sell them to anyone more than 300 miles away from the park (we're about 350). I called the main number and a recording mentioned they can be purchased on the phone beginning in March, but I'm sure not for the current price of $75 each. Is it any wonder why this company cannot turn a profit? I'm sitting here with cash in hand and they won't take it.

The mileage limit is in place because they dont want people "shopping" the parks for the best season pass price. Some parks offer season passes for much less than the Great America one. I myself am getting my pass from SFStl at about 55 bucks. Even though I dont live in the area, I bought my pass and processed there last year so I can still renew through that park. I am afraid you are probably out of luck unless you can find a park that is within the 300 mile radius.

"Sorry folks, park's closed. The moose out front should've told you."

Ask someone you know who is within 300 miles of Chicago to buy them for you. They only send a voucher for the pass, so once someone's got them, anyone can process them.

But you may not enter any other SF park until you process the pass at the park where it was purchased. Basically, if you take a SP voucher with you from SFGam to SFMM without it being processed, you won't be allowed in. Simple as that.

EDIT: What you can do is buy the season passes online and when you arrive at the park, pick them up at the will-call window (which may be guest relations).

the thing i dont like about buying my pass online is there is no option for the parking pass. this saved me almost $200 last year and i would really like to get it again.

You can get the parking pass anytime at the season pass processing center. I bought my pass at SFStl last year and then I bought my parking pass at the season pass processing center. I ended up doing it on my second visit to the park this season and they let me use BOTH of my parking tickets as a credit to the parking pass as well.
