SFGAm 6/16/01 (Long)

Associated parks:
None

Arrived at the park around 12:40pm. Went to the left where Shockwave's line was too long, V2's line too long(behind resturaunt, across bridge, behind another building). Then I decided everything would be a long wait so I said that the next coaster on that side I would ride. So soon I found myself waiting for....

Iron Wolf which was a 40 minute wait for back row. I find that the more I wait for a ride, the more fun it is to me, even though days with walk-ons are better. Anyways I walked myself over to American Eagle where I waited 30 minutes for some seat in the middle. Then I walked oer to The Demon.

I waited 2 minutes for back row. I decided to go again, but that time I waited 3 minutes for 2nd to back row. After that I walked into the Southwest Territory where I was greeted by Raging Bull and Viper. I decided to hit Viper first. The wait was about 35 minutes, great ride as usual. Then I ran over to Raging Bull, where I ended up waiting 41 minutes for back row, the cool thing was is I got back row all to myself.

Next I went to Whizzer where I waited 20 minutes for 2nd row. Then I went to Shockwave for a 15 minute wait, lots of head banging, but I still like this ride. It was kinda hot so I went to Ice Mountain Splash where I ended up waiting 50-60 minutes, pretty bad desicion, but I liked getting wet.

I decided to eat at Angelo's Pasta which was good. Got in line for V2, but I saw Iron Wolf broken down with no one on it. They had kicked everyone out of line so basically no one was there. They tested it a couple of times and opened it up. Ended up being 5 minute wait for back row.

Then I ran over to American Eagle where I waited 10 minutes. Ran over to Bull to see it broken down. Ran over to Shockwave where I waited 5 minutes for 2nd to back row. They opened up that gate on the exit ramp so you could get back on without having to exit all the way and enter again. I wished I could of stayed longer, but I had to go.

Other Comments:

Didn't have time for batman, too long of line.
Same with V2.
Had a great day!

Talk about a crowded day. I would really hate to wait in all of those lines. Oh well, sounds like you had a good day, even though you didn't ride V2. Good TR!

It's called 'Don't go on Saturdays!' Trust me on this one.

Here's the strategy. Go on a weekday, the further toward the middle of the week the better. Wednesday is always the least crowded day because no one will take off work in the middle of the week. It's always Monday, Friday or sometimes even Tuesday and Thursday (for the vacationers.)

If you go on a Wednesday, like I always try to, the lines are non existant. They run Demon trains with 10 people on them, Crap-Wave has a 5 minute line, and Viper... 5 minutes for back row.
