ARRIVED: 9:30am
LEFT: 9:30pm
PARK APPEARANCE/ATMOSPHERE: Clean, slightly crowded but not too bad.
RIDE QUEUE TIMES: I can't recall exactly, but were on the short side. Nonetheless, I still spent the cash and used the FastPass throughout the day.
BEST EXPERIENCE: Operating the water cannons on the midway for Roaring Rapids...I spent quite a few dollars operating the head-chopper cannon #3. (It was tilted over and shot it's stream horizontally into the rafts at head level.)
WORST EXPERIENCE: Seeing a girl pass out at 1pm in V2's queue and watching my watch seeing how long it took to get medical personnel. (For the record...10 minutes)
MOST PLEASANT SURPRISE: Getting "harassed" (jokingly) by the senior op at Roaring rapids at 8pm about not letting me on it since I had my Coasterbuzz shirt on...He and I spoke later and had a few laughs
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not much, really. The "Mardi Gras" theming was really weak, though.
COASTER RANKINGS
WITHOUT FLAW: Raging Bull - Back Seat! (but turn off the TRIMS!), Riding the Whizzer knowing it was NOT being torn down!, Finally sitting in the magical seat 1-3 on Viper - it's not a myth!
REALLY QUITE GOOD: Iron Wolf...no headbanging - but I was prepared and kept my head glued to the right side. Elgae Nacirema was a blast...I rode it three times throughout the day. DejaVu...first Train of the day, front row - it pays to wait for it first thing...it opened at 10:45.
COLD FRIES BAD Idiots and their groups who have to walk shoulder to shoulder to shoulder taking up the whole midway and then give you a dirty look for walking between them
JUST PLAIN AWFUL - Nothing
MAJOR NON-COASTER ACTIVITIES: Watched the Chinese acrobats (is the human body _supposed_ bend like that???), ate at Mooseburger lodge for the first time...great burger (line was long though) but the show was fun.
BEST NON-COASTER RIDE: Sky Cabin. I got some nice photos of the park.
OTHER COMMENTS: A nice day. Weather was PERFECT - high of 81 degrees and sunny...
