SFGA/Kingda Ka Station & Camera's?

Hi-

For those that have gone to the park so far this year, when the ride has been open...are you allowed to have your digital camera on you in the Q line, as well as inside the station, permitting you to take pictures? I'm hoping you are able to do this, and that they have an area during boarding where you can store any loose articles. But if my thinking is correct, you probably are not allowed to have anything 'loose' in line/in the station with you, would that be correct?

No. You must store everything in a locker, which the queue line actually travels through. They will not store anything at the station.

I took pics in the station and nobody said anything to me. I had on Cargo shorts that the big pocket buttons shut. I don't see why you can't have it in your pocket when you go in as long as its secure.

There is a nice viewing area near the launch section though, but I think if you REALLY are intent on getting photos inside the station, you can try cargo shorts at your own rish I suppose, if none of the ride ops say anything.

They closed the viewing area near the launch for fear of the ride breakig like it did last time and pieces hitting people. It might reopen next year along with some on the queue that they dont use now for the same reason.
