SFGAdv VIP Tours?

Just noticed mention of the VIP tours on the SF Site. I never knew they did them.

Anyone ever done one? Costs? I wonder if it's a tour with actual info or just an excuse to pay more and get to the front of the lines?

I know that sounds like a bunch of "contact the park" questions, but I'm wondering if anyone has done it or at least inquired about it at the park.

I think its an excuse to pay more to get to the front of the line. they just have a person who escorts you around. Q Bot but you have an employee that walks you up the exit and onto the ride.

Thanks,
DMC

The way it has been explained to me is they have guided and unguided versions. For the unguided version they give you a VIP pass that you can use as an exit pass for any rides, any amont of times you want, for four hours. They only sell a limited number of these passes, and they ran $50 per person last I checked. They are worth it if you are traveling to the park and have a limited time and want to get everything in on a busy day. It is they way I would go if I didn't live right near the park.

Rarely updated, but that is OK; Penncoasters.com
...Or if you want to ride Kingda Ka several dozen times in just 4 hours on opening day.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

You'll be lucky if several dozen trains launch in the entire opening day, let alone in 4 hours of opening day.
A little pessamistic there, aren't we? I'm not expecting the ride to be trouble free, but I think, looking at Storm Runner, it will be much more reliable then earlier versions.

Ahh, that's what I suspected. Thanks for the info guys.

The self guided tour would probably be a good option if I'm hitting the park for just a few hours...say the day before CBCon ;)

Actually the guided tour would probably be hysterical. What could the possibly give you a 'tour' on?

"This is Medusa's exit. Enjoy your ride. This is Nitro's exit. Enjoy your nap. And so on." :)

Gonch you are terrible! I will continue defending Nitro and attacking all of those who are Viper-lovers...

FOR IT IS I....NITROBOY!!! :)

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

There's a handful of Nitro naysayers around here. I just take the most joy in throwing the jabs every chance I get. ;)

At least I skipped the NyQuil reference this time. :)

Other than that ONE night during Con on AC, I've never gotten anything *majorly fun* on any of the Beema hypers...

In fact, "hyper" is kind of a misnomer for those non-inverting B&M *tall but dull* steel coasters...and yes, I have ridden them lots of times, usually in the back row....

Luckily for me, Gadv does have the Chilla! :)
