SFgadv question. Please answer.

I have a few questions for SFgadv. 1. Will Viper be open for the 2002 season and opening day.2. Did they take down Great American Scream Machine.3. Will they have a thrills shot in place of the Sling Shot? 4.Will both Batman and Robin both be running with lap-bars?
Please answer!!!

1. Yes.....2. No (what?)...3. Maybe not positive....4. I heard robin will not be open for a month?

1. probably yes(heard people saw them removing the otsr's) 2.I BELIEVE next year, or there doing something to it, to make it better, I believe by getting a new type of train 3. No clue 4. I know the trains both have lap bars, but since of the Poltergeist incident (New lap bar train did HEAVY dammage to the track, and the LIMS), IDK when they will open it (Batman at least, since it was just added with lapbars)

OK...if they took GASM down, I would go and beat the crap out of the owner. That ride is great!

And how the hell do the new Lap Bar trains do damage to the tracks? They're the same exact train the used to be, only with the OTS removed and Laps put in. There's no new chassis or wheel assembly. What you heard was a rumor, sfmmrider.

Lol....i was thinking the same thing coaster131, if the exact same trains are used, only new restraints are put in, what in the world would that do to the track or the LIM's....Whoever told you that must've tried to be dumb when they said that....I've heard of some stupid crap, but that beats it all out.

NO! See Flight Of Fear used the same train, but they just switched the restraints, but Poltergeist got a new train, and that's why it's not open, and had those problems. Batman is probably ok, because I believe they used the same old train, and just added the lap bars. Notice none of the Premiere coasters, except for Speed The Ride will be open, cause its open all year, and they didnt do anything to that, YET at least. Watch, and see none of the Premieres will be open!

If you check ScreamScape.com, and look at the March 16th update, it says 8 of the lims were damaged, and 12 wheel bogeys were just ripped off. This will at least delay the opening of Jokers Jinx (there getting the same thing with lap bars) and Mr. Freeze in Texas, if not the rest of the premiere rides. This happend because they instead of getting the old train, they got a retrofitted Premier train from supposidly another coaster.

The Batman train looks exactly like the retrofitted Robin train that was running by the end of last season. The only problem is....the cars are still sitting in the garage without wheel bogeys or LIM fins.

Viper is expected to open around memorial day this spring and not on opening day as mentioned. Viper will be closed on opening day. Batman: the Chiller will be open opening day with Robin following a month later. Many rides have already begun testing including Batman: the Chiller. Also, expect some older rides to be operational this season such as Space Shuttle and the Parachutes which have both begun testing as well. Time Warp is indeed gone as suspected.

Well unless the Chiller began testing an hour or two ago, it has still yet to test this year. There's only 3 robin cars on the track and the rest are in the garage along with the entire batman train.

Why is the robin trains in the garage? I thought they reprofited it already, or is it just there for storage for the off season?

1.Viper will be open

2.No GASM isn't coming down anytime soon. Maybe some changes though.

3.Yes ThrillShot will be there, I'm not sure if it will be there for the opening but it's on the maps!

4.Both have lapbars but this thing about Robin is still blurry.
