SFGAdv Offers Nitro on 6th!

FYI - Just read on SFGAdv's official site that you can camp out on their property on April 4th thru 6th for the opportunity to ride Nitro on the 6th, a day before the park officially opens, plus there's give-aways and other things going on. Thought you'd like to know.
It's bad enough waiting in line to ride coasters at Great Adventure, and now they want us to camp-out for two days and play games to ride Nitro?:) Anyone who does this should have their head examined because it's just a coaster. I hope people remember to use their deodarant because according to the site there are no showers available.
Are you kidding, that would be awesome! That coaster looks unbelievable, and hey, whats wrong with a night or two camping? Many people do it for pleasure when they go vacationing!
I'm with you, FCR! I always camp when I go on vacation. If I was a little closer, I would definitely camp out for a couple of days to ride Nitro. I think the camp-out itself might be fun.
How finished is the construction? I haven't seen many pictures posted anywhere regarding that. I've been told that it's pretty far along, but I don't know how far...

If I lived by SFGAdv I know where I would be April 4 - 6. That sounds totally fun! I wish CP would have done that for MF.

Yeah, thats the point. ;)
It sounds like it would be a hoot. How many times have pictures been shown of people who have camped out for days for their favorite concert tickets. Seems to me that SFGADV has figured out a peaceful solution as to who gets the first ride and has made a media event out of it as well.
Besides there are more geese at SFGADV than there are at Bush Gardens I doubt Fabio would want to ride this one first.
