My second trip to the park this year. My first trip was a total bummer, with almost nothing running in the pouring rain. Thanfully, this time it was a lot of fun and wait times never were too bad. Here's the low-down:
After we processed our season passes, we headed right for GASM. This ride I love, but it is still always a little rough. The only other weak point is that it barely makes it through the 2 corkscrews, they gotta take out the trims.
After GASM we headed for Viper. The first time i was here this year an employee said it was closed because they were improving the ride. From what I first heard, sumtime in the next few years they will re-profile Viper's track and add more inversions. Anyway, I think Viper got new, custom restaints because this ride was no-longer a headbanger for me, and that first heartline-dive is intense!
After that we headed to Medusa. This ride was a walk on early in the day so we got in the front a for 3-4 rides. Lemme tell ya, in the front seat of Medusa, it feels like ure in a plane about to crash!
After that, we went on the Runaway train, the log flume, and Jumpin' Jack Flash (which is by the way a pretty darn good ride). We then ate lunch. Damn $5 for a burger at the park's mcdonalds. What a rip.
Ne way, after that, we decided to hit a bunch of spin and spew rides. We hit the Twister(topspin), the Time Warp (double inverter), the Pendulum(frisbee) and Evolution which is one of the most intense spin n spew ever. After that we decided to take a little rest right outside the gates of gotham city. After a little rest, we hopped right on line for Batman. The line was 45 mins. at the most. The first time i was here, batman was closed due to dripping rust, this day it was opened and seemed to be running faster and smoother than ever...great inverted ride.
Free-Fall was a walk-on so we decided to hit that.
