SFGAdv-Land Clearing not for new attraction

Read this from Scremscape:

An inside source tells us that the land clearing in the photo, across from the Lethal Weapon show lake is not for a new attraction. It is to fix & rebuild some kind of old dam, probably placed to maintain the water level in the show lake.

Now I know how you guys say how it is when it comes to trusting Screamscape. Instead of dogging this down, can someone give me some info about the lake itself and wheter it is logical that they would be damming it up?

The construction is not for a new attraction. The dam is to control the water level for the lake in which the ski show takes place. Kind of like flood control.

I can buy that. Why woud they build a new themed area so far from the park. That would be one heck of a bridge

Agreed on all points. The lake "re-damming" has been a work in progress since late last summer, when we had that drought, and construction has just become visible now. Trust me, we won't see a new attraction over there OR by the Log Flume, that's yet another environmental land clearing at the park, there are several....
