SFGAdv, Chiller: Robin seen running

Yesterday at SFGAdv, while sitting on a bench practically under the Batman inversion (the "tophat" I guess it is called) enjoying a waffle cone, I got used to the noise it made.  At one point I noticed it sounded different, I looked up and there was Robin running its course.  No people, just an empty train.  Later, while waiting to ride the Batman side, I saw a number of official looking people huddling around Robin, confering, etc.  Then they sent it off.  Looks good with just the lapbars.  After my Batman ride, I looked over and caught the attention of one of the official looking guys (he had on the SF polo) and I asked if Robin would be running anytime soon.  He said he thought so, I asked if maybe by Coaster Celebration, he said a pretty good chance.   Take it with grain of salt, but since the train is on the tracks and running test laps, you gotta figure it won't be long now.  BTW, I was wearing my Coasterbuzz shirt...may that was why he responded to my questions?!!

I know you rider
Gonna miss me when I'm gone
I called last night and they said it was running test laps also. When I asked a ride op a month ago he said next season it would be running but I guess they changed their minds. I'm going tomarrow and hope to see testing. Were they testing all day or for just a little bit.
I hope i get there today around 4:00 to see it running. I cant wait, and i need to get my coaster celebration tickets.

I think they tested Robin just later in the day.  In fact, I could not get fast pass in the morning 'cause Batman side wasn't even running.  Later, when I noticed Batman side open, I waited for it (1 hour plus) since I had never been to the park before.

I wouldn't hope for it to be carrying passengers just yet, but maybe in time for Coaster Celebration.

Can anyone tell me where I can get Coaster Celebration Tickets or a form to get tickets?

I think you can pay at the gate.
At the gate, if you never registured, it's $68.90 + regular admission price. That pretty expensive but I've been saving.   :)
I heard its 55 at the gate.
Premier and some employees already rode the ride and were very happy with the lap bars.
I went today and asked an op and he said that it is opening this weekend
if you regiisture now after the early registration deadline, it's $55 at the gate. Walk in registrations are $65.

NITRO EXPLODES!!!!!!!!!!
It opens Saturday 9/1/01. It's sweet!
It is not opening the first. I was there yesterday and they said 2 weeks because it still needs at least 5 more days of testing. Also are they going to test it with dummies or just assume the lap bars can hold you in. I was also surprised that I didn't notice any ankle bars.
Hopefully it will be open on wednesday or tuesday, when I go again.
