After a quick drive through the safari we arrived at the park around 1:00pm. I went through the season pass entrance and went straight too....

GASM-Nothing different than Shockwave except it was a little smoother. It would of gotten a 2/5 rating if it wasn't for the smoothness. Rating-3/5  Wait-7min

After that we started walking towards Frontier Adventures. The next coaster we came upon was the Mine Train and it looked like a short wait so we decided to ride.

Mine Train-Not to fun except for that bunny hop at the end. Also the line moved very slowly and I don't think I'd go on it again if it wasn't a 5min wait or shorter. Rating-2/5   Wait-30min

Since we were in frontier adventures we saw that the closest coaster was Medusa. We had second thoughts about riding since the que was full and the line extended well into the midway, but we still rode.

Medusa-VERY fun, my second floorless and it was awesome. Also the long line ended up not being so long after all. Rating-5/5  Wait-40min

We studied the park map and thought that we should head over to Skull Mountain. When we got there the line didn't look too long so we got in line.

Skull Mountain-This ride was fun for its size and I wasn't expecting that first drop. The only problem was that it was too short for the line we had to wait for. Rating-4/5     Wait-30min

It was 5min till 6:00pm so we decided to catch the next Lethal Weapon water stunt show. It was good and the stunts were cool. After that we walked over to....

B&R:TC-This ride was awesome and definatly worth the wait. Going through the tophat and in-line twist backwards was really cool. The only bad thing was that it was a little rough and hurt my back a little. Rating-5/5  Wait-50min

While in line for B&R we noticed the swinging ship that spun around so we decided to head over to it when we were done with B&R. After Pendelum we walked to Nitro.

Nitro-GREAT ride, GREAT airtime. This basically describes the whole ride except it's soooooo smooth. Also the line moved very fast. Rating-5/5  Wait-37min

Since we were in Movietown we went to Batman:TR.

Batman:TR-Just like GA's and SFoG's except this line moved veeerrrrry slow and it had a extremely loud roar like most B&M's should have. Rating-4/5  Wait-30min

After this we went back to the other side of the park to go on Rolling Thunder, but we decided to go on Dino Island 3D. After that it was 9:50pm so I still wanted to make it to Rolling Thunder.

We ran as fast as we could and got there at 9:54pm and it was closed. They had a chain over the entrance, but I wasn't gonna give up by just walking away. So we hopped the chain and walked up to the station and the last group of people were just getting on, but they didn't let us get on.

Boy was I pissed. it was still 5min before closig and they said the park had been closed for 5min. So we walked away mad, but knew that we didn't miss much. We then left very pleased with the overall park, except for the rotting lumber experience. Overall I'd give the park a rating of 5/5 because of the great ride and coaster selection.

Yeah Rotting lumber does suck.  It was the coaster I hated the most while there.  Glad to see you like this park, cause I certainly did, because of the really nice operations there you're never waiting in line for too long which is definitely nice.

sigh, SFNE goes "tiny" for 2001
It's great to start hearing good things about this park. They had made a lot of improvements this year with their operations.
