SFGAdv 4/3/02

Associated parks:
None

Me and my father went to SFGadv on 4/3/02 and it was almost empty! The only bad thing that happened was that The Chiller was closed and Medusa was closed in the morning, but opened around 1:00. We headed straight to Nitro and got right onto the front car with about a five minute wait. We moved back to the middle without even having to go around the exit into the que again! We did Nitro 5 times. Then we headed over to Batman the Ride and got right on with no wait at all. It was pretty intense so my dad didnt want to go on it again. We then went to the other side of the park to ride Medusa but it was closed, so instead we went to the Mine Train since there was no line. It brought back some fond memories but it was kind of boring. Then we went to frontier land and went on that spinning cow ride.( I almost threw up.) Then we went over to the Boardwalk and went on GASM( which was pretty rough). We went in the front seat but it was still painful. We decided to take a rest and go on escape from Dinoland, it had no line what so ever. We then went over to Medusa and it was open so we went on it. It felt smooth as smooth as a babies bottom after GASM. Then on our way to the exit we saw Viper testing with an employee on it so we waited and it opened! We got the first ride of the day. I never realized how short that thing is! They must have done something to it because it was a lot smoother then i remember it. Then we made our way to the exit and left. It was probably the emptiest ive seen any park ever!

Treat others as you would want them to treat you.

Almost every trip report I have read, it has mentioned medusa being closed in the morning.
Yeah Medusa is having its share of problems this year. I'm making my 3rd trip of the season saturday and I hope to ride it.
I hope this doesn't happen to B:DK in a couple of years. Does it possibly have to do with the vertical tires inacuracies? If that's the problem then B:DK is exempt.
