SFGAdv Fright Fest

The Mrs. and I will be going to Fright Fest (October) in Joisey and I have a few questions.

Is there a hay ride or haunted walk type deal?

Any major rides closed?

And finally, what are the lines like? In the past we have been there in the spring and summer months and the wait times were very reasonable.

Thanks for your help!

So many coasters, so little vacation time....

Yes There is a hay ride. No major coasters were closed last year, except Viper which was down all year, and Batman chiller, which was getting new trains.

Lines were good. Most coasters were two or three train waits. Nitro was about 15 minutes, and robin chiller was about 45 minutes.

I have been going to Sixflags Greatadventure for years, and Frightfest is one of my favortie times to go. If you got on a Sat beware, crowds can be very heavy, but on sudays they arent too bad becuase people have work the next day etc. (if you really want to go when there is no one around go the first friday of frightfest, there is no one there!) They have a hayride, and use to have a walk throu, but it wasent up last year, it seemed more geared tord children last season, becuase sept,11th was still fresh, and I thought it would wasent a good idea (as did the park) to show body parts guts etc, so there was nuthing special last year, Maybe this year will be difrent? All the rides are still open inlcuding most of the water rides during the afternoon, but beware it can be 80degs at 6pm ,but when that sun go's that you will freeze. Oh yea the lines, the lines are never too long but the Haunted Hayride gets a very long long line every year over 1hr easily, I remember before Nitro, medusa, and The chiller, the lines use to streach way across the park for the hautned attractions, but now it isent as bad. Well have a good time, I cant wait myself.
