We have never been there and are going tomorrow..what are the crowds like? ( and I'm NOT asking how BUSY they are or lines)..
And how good are the rides/coasters? Or should we just head further down to PKD again?

Well its a weekday. If I was you I would go straight to Deja Vu if it is open then Bull V2 and so on. But if Deja Vu is open in the morning with short lines ride it a few times. It is hard to find it open with short lines. Good Luck
Happy Coastering

While I won't tell you which is the better park, go to SFA just for variety from the 20 sec launchers, as good as they are. The crowds are fine, though others seem more sensitive to the more urban nature of the park than myself.
Some people love Batwing and some don't. I love it. Superman, the new Joker's Jinx, Roar, and Wild One are considered top tier coasters. Lines will be reasonable even on a weekend if you get there early. Many people consider the park to have better rides than PKD even though they have less of them. Personally, I do.

I think the hubby got confused with the names..he kept calling the one in Maryland SFGA...instead of SFA..I didn't know there were two with America in their name..his main office is out of Chicago..I think that is how he was getting name-confused.
Is the park worth a 35.99+ admission though for the quanity of rides? He's afraid that we'll get there and run out of things to do since we have the whole day...

The park has 8 coasters, four of which are very interesting to ride (S:ROS, ROAR, Batwing and Wild One...personally, I'd take Two-Face or Jokers Jinx over Batwing, but Batwing *is* different). They also have an above average number of flats (scrambler, round up, tilt-a-whirl, breakdance, rotoshake, flying bobs, etc.) Like I said though, lines will be short enough that you'll never wait more than a cycle or two for the flats. The longest wait will likely be for Typhoon SeaCoaster (not to be missed) because they only use like 5 of the 16 boats they have.
As for the crowds, if you have a problem with seeing a WHOLE bunch of black folks, then I suggest going to PKD (actually, Hershey would be better as PKD has a big black populous as well, but there are more whiteys to balance it out). I always seem to run into some bad-assed "BeBe's Kids", but I'm more annoyed by their cursing than anything. I've not seen fights or anything like that, not really even aruguments. Just cursing because "It sounds cool!" For the most part though, let people alone, they leave you alone (though there is always that ONE...)
BTW: Check out the Country show in the western saloon. I hate country music, but the show is quite good. You may want to eat there too, as this was the only place I saw them actually using gloves this year :)

OMG..I needed that laugh!....We already went to Hershey twice this year and we are tossed between SFA and Great Adventure..
PKD did have alot of "blacks" but that doesn't bother me as long as they are polite.
Btw..I added you to my msn messenger so don't block me! :)
