SFGA Deja Vu

I was just at the park on Friday the 31. It looked as if the ride will be running really soon. They built another saftey stairway down incase it valleys again. I believe it should be running as soon as next week. They were testing it out about one cycle every hour so, It should open up shortly.
Great
It has been closed for a month, they have been testing for a month, it has looked like it will open next week for a month, and still nothing. I have stoped playing hte guessing game because theres just no point anymore. I just hope to have it open within the next month. This is not a good way to start of the season.
Excellent. Hope it works when I'm there in 2 weeks.

This sounds very good. I'm going on the 11th of June. So, It better be open;).

I was at the park Thursday the 30th. In the morning they were testing it, and it looked quite good. The staff member manning the entrance said that there was a chance that the ride might open during the day, but he could not make any promises. Then in the afternoon, he said the the catch wagon was having problems, and that the ride probably would not open. It did not. In the afternoon, he said something a bit scary -- though it could open in a day or so, it might not reopen for "a long time." (Meaning weeks). He implied that the ride could be up within a day, or several weeks-- they're still trying to work out bugs and they simply don't know when it will be fixed. (He was purposefully vague). I also saw him attacked by a 30-something guy who said "Why are you advertising this thing if it's not open?" very combatively. He replied, "It has been open." Yeah, less than two days out of the season. That was misleading, but I couldn't blame the poor fellow. Tough job.

You know, I don't think they are advertising the ride. They are advertising the experience, which people had last year. They want you to come back and experience the sight of the world's most expensive lawn ordament! So that guy who was getting upset had nothing to get upset about ;)

Deja Vu count: 1
Will it go up this year? Doubtful...

I saw the unintentionally hilarious ad last night that announces "Deja Vu Returns". That ad should be pulled.
I just heard a commercial on the radio and it said "Ride Six Flags Great America's new thrill ride Deja Vu", I wish they would stop advertising for it, they are just going to get themselves into the same situation they were in last year. Who knows when Deja Vu will open, for SFGAm's sake it better be soon or they might end up with more false advertisement cases to deal with.
