Me and my friend David took a trip out to SFEG on a nice warm day. We decided to go to the water park (Island Kingdom) for an hour or so before we go do the regular rides. Went on a couple of slides-one that went 60 mph! Had a lot of fun but we wanted to go to the regular park. We decided not to change into shorts for now, because we wanted to go on Disaster Canyon which is a raft ride.
Disaster Canyon: You get VERY wet on this ride! I had a great time on it. It dosn't really have any drops but it is a lot of fun. My shoes were soaked the rest of the time.
Chaos: Best spin ride ever! We flipped a record amount of times on this one. 1 ride.
Mind Eraser (Vekoma SLC): Had about a 15 min. wait. We got on third row, green train. YIKES! That was the roughest time I had on this ride. I had a headache for a long time after. It used to be fun but what happend? Took my shoes off for this one. Felt good. 1 lap.
Boomerang: Am I the only one who likes these rides? Bumped my head one time. They put an on-ride photo right before the loop this year. I think it is because they took the one off Twister II. 2 laps.
Twister II: A big white wood coaster. This is my favorite coaster in the park. Sure it's a little rough but I don't think it's going to kill anyone. I felt a little air time but not much. The dark tunnel is a blast. Went one time in the front. 3 laps.
Sidewinder (Arrow shuttle loop): A fun ride that launches you from around 100 feet up, down a great drop, up into a loop, and up over an air-time hill, and onto vertical track. You stop all the way and then do the entire thing backwards. Ride op let us go twice in a row because of no lines. Tuesday is a good day to go! 3 laps.
Tower of Doom (free-fall ride): Longest wait of the day (30 min). I took my shoes off again. This ride gives you a great rush. Sitting 200 feet of the ground is cool. I love this ride. 1 ride.
