I've heard various strange rumors for Six Flags Darien Lake's 2001 plans; everything from a "B+M stand-up", to a "GCI woody", to "LIM-launched rides" from Premier, and even to a "Thrust-Air 2000" (yeah, right). Chances are, seeing how the park's doing very little more than a Huss Top Spin for the 2000 season, one of these rumored rides are indead destined to grace this great park. If someone out there has any clue, at all, as to which one(s) of these are on for the 2001 season, then please fill me in on your rumors immediately. Thank you.

Jeff's avatar I don't think they're in line for another major attraction. Superman has really established them as a great regional park for the time being. The only park I would consider competition is Canada's Wonderland, and their ride collection is a bit larger. There certainly won't be anything significant for this year, but perhaps a decent sized coaster is in order for next year.

I heard B&M stand-up, I am guessing that is the most probable because supposedly that is what people were syaing at IAAPA, but who knows, people out there claim to that big things are in store for the park, but as always take with a grain of salt, or as I have experianced in the past, the entire Akzo salt mine.
