SFDL help

I might be traveling to East Aurora NY for ToyFest at the end of August. I notice that Six Flags Darien Lake is nearby so I will definately hit that if I go (gotta use that season's pass!) but I am wondering if there are any other parks near SFDL? Thanks!

Martin's Fantasy Island, Grand Island, NY...has the Silver Comet (a nice CCI) and the space shot they added this year. Also Marineland, Niagara Falls, Canada. Not many rides there though. And depending on how far you want to travel there's Paramount Canada's Wonderland by Toronto, my personal favorite.

PCW is a good 2+ hours from SFDL (and the highway there is almost always bumper-to-bumper - the most infuriating stretch of road I've been on). In the other direction, Seabreeze park is about an hour away in Rochester. It's a real pretty little place right on Lake Ontario - defintely worth a side-trip. Look around the trip reports - there was one about Seabreeze posted in the past month or so.

You can hit I-90 west and come on over to SFWOA which is 200 miles away from SFDL whick only has (1) good coaster SROS

Don't let people convince you not to go to SFDL. Superman is amazing, and the park is well rounded, which makes up for the lack of rides (i.e. waterpark, campground, laserblast show, performing arts center, hotel.)

oh frig scanz is right. SROS is sweet. do NOT miss it. uhhhhhh im drooling cause ill be riding it in like a week and a half. ive ridden it before ill have you know.

As everyone else stated, there is Seabreeze, Martins Fantasy Island, Marineland, and Canadas Wonderland.

Don't miss SFDL, Superman is an awesome ride :)
