SFDL had NO lines whatsoever today (and other SFDL

Today, not only were all the coasters walk on (except superman.. more on that later...) but they were FRONT SEAT WALK ONS! THeirfore, pretty much every seat was free to take 99% of the time..... (BTW every coaster was running 1 train too!) Also other rides like Twister were no line too.....
speaking of twister, since their was no line, our op was a little crazy... he figured "since their is no line.. why not let the ride keep going".. soooooo a 10 min ride isnt too fun on that ride :-/

heh.... back to Superman... the ride only had 1 train running and the line wasnt as short as the other rides/coaster... SUperman had a 10 min wait... not too bad, but would have EASILY been front seat walkon with 2 trains :-)

Oh... also, since it was very humid/muggy out the whole day, the mist on S:ros and Mind Eraser covered the Whole lake, and also since their was little wind, you pretty much got soaked... very cool!

I just had an idea for superman... why not add a tunnel where teh long straight-waway is, and throw some fog in their. it would make up for not puttin a tunnel around the 1st turn. I am sure it wouldnt be TOO hard (I know its not EASY...) but it would make the ride less boring at that part (not that it IS boring...)

oh well, thats all I had to say :)

Hey, that tunnel idea sounds great! You know us coaster freaks should be running the parks!

I agree! I know alot of people complain about the straight track on Intamin hypers, but I love it! A tunnel right there would have been perfect!

You may get wet on this attraction, you may even get drenched! But can you survive the PLUNGE?
If we ran the parks, we would probably bankrupt a few of them eith some of our ideas, OR, we could just possibly make the worlds greatest park:')

I hope the crowds there remain thin, because I'd really like to get in there in the next couple of weeks. Still feeling a little bitter about that chain break incident at SFA, and I need a little Ride of Steel!

You lucky east coaster freaks. "Oh yeah, I'll just stop by SFDL tomorrow to ride S:ROS". Probably my only opportunity to ride S:ROS at SFA was back in June and the damn thing was closed. I mean Goliath is a good ride, but everyone knows it's not a REAL hyper. It's just a record breaker and that's it.
Michigan's Adventure was all front seat walk-ons when I weas there on a Sunday and Shivering Timbers was a walk on all day. Gotta get there!!! I don't think the lines ever get that bad!

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
Goliath not a real hyper? I guess the fact that it's a 255ft. drop at speeds of 85mph a maximum g's of 4.5 in that little helix isn't enough for you hmmm? Goliath is one of the best hypers in existence today. I would take a ride on that coaster anyday. Not to say that the S:ROS's aren't good, because I've never ridden one, I'm merely stating that Goliath is DEFINATELY a real hyper. Make no mistake about that. It might not have as much airtime as the ROS's, but it still gives a swwwwweeeeeeeetttttt ride, YEE DOGGIES! Peace. :)
How did we start talking about Michigan's Adventure?
