SFDL getting Shoot the Chutes

SFDL in there newsletters for seasonpass holders hs enclosed information stating that SFDL will be getting a Shute the Chutes.
That's a shocker. It's nice to have confirmation, but I was hoping for more than just a chute-the-chutes. Oh well, I'm happy anyways.

I'm not... it's a standard shoot-the-chutes. Nothing like Knotts Perilous Plunge... and the name is typical Six Flags cliche "Shipwreck Falls" naming.

The ride is useless on cooler days, or days where you don't want to get completely drenched... I just hope that there will be some FREE supplemental rides to go along with this (meaning no upcharge rides).

...Wondering what the 2002 season holds for all parks...

Actually I think its pretty cool that they're getting this.  I mean Adventureland land is getting one and I'm pretty pumped for that.  If Valleyfair got another one that'd be cool too.  There's more to parks then coasters.

Just wait till next year!
Who is manufacturing these rides?  Just curious now that OD Hopkins is now with Reverchon if they are still building flumes and shoot-the-chutes, or if these are going to be Intamin or Arrow.  I think my favorite has to be Sklooosh at Knoebels...when they were testing it night before opening people half way up the Giant Wheel were getting wet!

Phly the Pheonix
I think it is Intamin ride that is going into sfdl

There are certains rides that a park should always get eventually, and this is one of them. Great news for SFDL!
