Well this is my first trip report on coasterbuzz so stick with me here. We got to the park about 10:45 after a 3 and a half hour drive. First thing we did was Superman: Ride of Steel.
This ride just seems to keep getting better and better the more I ride it. Overall I got 4 laps in on Superman and all of them were great but the best one was when we got the first train out of the station after it had rained. If I had to rate this ride I would give it a 9 out of 10.
Next up we headed next door to ride Predator.
They seemed to have been doing some work on it (retracking etc.) and it seemed to pay off. This ride was much smoother than last year and actually had some airtime on it. Overall we got 2 rides in on this woodie. I would give this ride a 6 out of 10. It has some good moments but other than that it is just blah.
Then we went over to ride the Viper.
Viper is your typical Arrow looper(I don't think it is tall enough to be considered a "mega" looper but I could be wrong). This ride gives basically the same ride everytime you ride it. We rode it twice the whole day. I would give it about a 7 our of 10.
Unfortenitly mother nature chose this time for it to rain down on us but what can you do. It started raining at about 1:30 and the rides were back up and running at about 3:30. Next new ride we went on was Mind Eraser.
This ride has certainly gotten rough. Last year I found it to be a pretty good ride but as time goes on Vekoma SLC's get rougher I guess. I give it a 6 out of 10. My freind loved this ride for some reason and we ended up going on it 7 times.
Boomerang was closed today which I was upset about sense I am one of those weird people who actually like these rides. We also Got on Twister(Huss Top Spin) as well. To prove to my friends that I have an "iron stomach" I ate a funnel cake right before going on it. This thing was running in crazy mode. I swear I have never been on one of these rides that has flipped so much in one cycle. It was really fun though. We also hit Shipwrech Falls.
This is SFDL's new ride fopr 2002. It is your typical run of the mill shoot-the-shoots from Intamin. It did give a really fun ride and getting soaked felt really good on a 90 degree day.
One great thing about going on a Wednesday was the fact that the longest line we stood in was 30 minutes for Superman. Although as we walked around there seemed to be a ton of people around.
We ended up leaving the park around 8:30 becuase people have to get back to go to work and such.
Now on the website it said that they were only open till 8. We had planned our day around this. Around 7:30 me and my friend were running aroud trying to get last rides in and then 8 came and passed. We asked one of the ride op's why they were still open and he told us that the website was wrong and they were open till 10. Now what makes me mad is the fact that not only did they not change the site but there was nothing there saying that they were open till 10 instead of 8. Oh well, Overall I had a really great time and will hopefully get out there again soon.

I am sorry for the fact that there is no indentation. I had it when I wrote it but it didn't show up on here.
